The long ball route.

Teams just don't deal well with it.
It's as if a complete shift in philosophy of football to put "ball playing centre backs" (AKA slim, slow, technical players) into defence, you leave yourself exposed for aerial threats.

Teams still prefer to fanny about with at the back

The only statement they're making right now is that they're hanging on to a 1-0 lead and looking shaky

That should be a pen.

'It doesn't effect Ing's ability to play the ball' claims Clattenburg, ludicrously.

You'd give 20 penalties a game if one was given every time there was a bit of contact after an effort on goal.

Klopp is the major factor no doubt but other coaches could win the title with this team as well. Best squad on paper too now with City regressing.
using my last post of the day to say: no

this is a preposterous take. Firmly not the best squad on paper. Good luck to other coaches being asked to catch and pull back that City side with a midfield of Henderson Wijnaldum and A Third Dude

Klopp has created something special at LFC, I think the last time we saw it was under SAF at United. Rhys Williams was at Kidderminster last season but fit in seamlessly. It’s not about what is on paper. Wijnaldum and Henderson don’t reach these levels under another coach. Shit Minamino gets jettisoned long before today with another coach. Nobody thought Sarah was all that...Mane was a mid table player.....Fabinho was too slow.....

it goes on and on. We’re on a Manchester United forum. Ask them how it’s going having the best squad on paper. Because, on paper, United are stacked in every position. Doesn’t mean they know how to start a match of football. Coaching matters

Thor Ragnarok would be good in a three perhaps. With two lightning fast players beside him. Tuanzebe and Shaw perhaps.

Yes that goal by Firminho vs Tottenham will win Liverpool the league.
Fabinho is such a talented all around footballer. He is one of those players, he can easily play all positions, Im sure you could play him as a striker too.
