Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
Every team plays their game of the season against us. Nothing new.How we lost to Crystal Palace and Arsenal I’ll never know. They’re both absolute shite.

I’ve no issue with sport carrying on, it’s a business after all, another poster said a game should be postponed due to the positive cases and potential spreading, i was saying if we really wanted to stop spreading due to football we shouldn’t be playing at all, and the city game should go ahead with players who are available.I think there is sufficient testing across PL teams to mitigate against risk. Obviously there is still a risk but I understand PL teams do test regularly as do other teams in team sports which are happening.
Since you asked so politely, I will consult the crystal ball just for you.So win against Wolves and we go second, can we please do that.
Always been taught if you want anything in this life say please and you're more likely to get it.Since you asked so politely, I will consult the crystal ball just for you.
That's a confirmed yes, the game will end 4-0 to United.
Yeah, it would massively undermine the legitimacy of the competition if the same didn't apply here. But I expect TV folk won't allow it.Spurs got a bye in the League Cup because their opponents had a Covid outbreak.
Now, Tuesday's Euromillions please. PM meSince you asked so politely, I will consult the crystal ball just for you.

Apparently it was already in the League Cup rules that after the 5th round, no byes could be given for Covid.Yeah, it would massively undermine the legitimacy of the competition if the same didn't apply here. But I expect TV folk won't allow it.
Already been posted. The rules state that. the rule changes for byes etc change after round 5.Yeah, it would massively undermine the legitimacy of the competition if the same didn't apply here. But I expect TV folk won't allow it.
Same here. Always thought he was a player who could step up a levelReally thought Gray was gonna be class a year or so ago, appears he barely gets in the team these days.
Had about 4 coaches since he signed. Must be wondering where his future is.Same here. Always thought he was a player who could step up a level
No probs, just was explaining how teams sports carry on. I agree if they’ve set a precedent with the Leyton Orient game then it should be the same but I’m not sure what the risks are. I would assume the other players can play but not 100% sure. Maybe need some to explain.I’ve no issue with sport carrying on, it’s a business after all, another poster said a game should be postponed due to the positive cases and potential spreading, i was saying if we really wanted to stop spreading due to football we shouldn’t be playing at all, and the city game should go ahead with players who are available.
Victims is synonymous with the Hillsborough disaster. If that Villa fan doesn't know that, it doesn't excuse him one iota. No doubt he'll be doing airplane gestures at old Trafford soon enough 'without knowing why'.
There were quite a few on here wanting us to sign him at some point.Had about 4 coaches since he signed. Must be wondering where his future is.
It wasn't a precedent, it was the rule up to round 5 where there'd be no byes and a postponement would be allowed thereafterNo probs, just was explaining how teams sports carry on. Why up to round 5 though, should be the same for the whole competition I think, can only assume it’s due to knowing the bigger teams would be in the later stages and didn’t fancy having to kick one out because of it.It wasn't a precedent, it was the rule up to round 5 where there'd be no byes and a postponement would be allowed thereafter
Ah fair. I guess if its been set our already then fair enough.Already been posted. The rules state that. the rule changes for byes etc change after round 5.
Ah right thanks, wasn’t sure why it was different. It wasn't a precedent, it was the rule up to round 5 where there'd be no byes and a postponement would be allowed thereafter
I have no idea. Probably due to the fewer number of matches by then. It would compromise the integrity of the competition if we or anyone else be granted a bye into the finalWhy up to round 5 though, should be the same for the whole competition I think, can only assume it’s due to knowing the bigger teams would be in the later stages and didn’t fancy having to kick one out because of it.
I can understand them calling off the game today as they may want to test all their players and staff again. But there really is no question of their games against Chelsea and us being called off. Even if they have 10 players out due to Covid, it's no different a situation than having 10 players out injured. This is precisely why clubs have squads, so it's time to use them.No clamour to postpone the season then? As soon as it's City....
Integrity to me is having the same rules throughout the competition, ah well, we’ll just have to beat them which will be sweater.I have no idea. Probably due to the fewer number of matches by then. It would compromise the integrity of the competition if we or anyone else be granted a bye into the final
Bit different when their training ground is closedI can understand them calling off the game today as they may want to test all their players and staff again. Surely a team with their options can easily train elsewhere, just do it in the stadium perhaps.Bit different when their training ground is closed
The rules were in place before the competition started. What you're alluding to is a hard and fast adherence to one rule all the way through which is a totally different thing.Integrity to me is having the same rules throughout the competition, ah well, we’ll just have to beat them which will be sweater.
How does it feel seeing Terry back?I would bet my house that Traore scores against us today.
I hate playing against ex-players, regardless of their quality.
He's just a coach there so fine. If he was giving it the Jose "shh" or knee slide it would be a bit awkward. How does it feel seeing Terry back?
They can thoroughly sanitize and disinfect their training ground tonight or tomorrow, can't they?Bit different when their training ground is closed
Not really. They’ll be tested and then those with negative tests will train elsewhere. There is no chance our game will be off. You need to have under 14 players available including the U23 squad.Bit different when their training ground is closed
My work did it overnight and we are have a lot less dosh than Man City! They can thoroughly sanitize and disinfect their training ground tonight or tomorrow, can't they?
Didn’t know hamstring strains were contagious.I can understand them calling off the game today as they may want to test all their players and staff again. I’m saying that the rule is crap and they should change it so it’s the same for each round. The rules were in place before the competition started. What you're alluding to is a hard and fast adherence to one rule all the way through which is a totally different thing.
They are absolutely adhering to the rules and showing integrity.
If Spurs couldn't have fulfilled their game then Orient would have gone through.
Mata, the most lovable of them all, has never scored against youI would bet my house that Traore scores against us today.
I hate playing against ex-players, regardless of their quality.
Precisely!! It's not a unique undertaking in the present environment. My work did it overnight and we are have a lot less dosh than Man City!
The NFL has far fewer games and can extend if necessary being only 4 months long. The PL has a finite amount of time with the Euros in the summer and the other competitions that teams play in.The nfl has a very condensed schedule though and have 4 months to do their season compared to 10 months that football has.
International football should of course have been scrapped, its idiotic. But other than that they can manage. They'll need to play a bit more of a condensed fixture list here and there because of it to catch up, but they'll still have them.
Sure. Now, Tuesday's Euromillions please. PM me
Really? That dude? Who can't hit a barn door from 5 yards out and is going through a good patch?Harvey Barnes is the footballer Daniel James should have been, but just isn’t.
This isn't an "annual flu strain" though and the "reality of billions of people forced out of work" is an outright lie.A respiratory virus is going to make its way through society regardless of any “precautions” taken. We’ve never locked down or worn masks in the past over the annual flu strains. Lockdowns and masks only give the illusion of stopping the spread, with the reality of billions of people forced out of work, countless suicides, missed cancer screenings, and on and on.
It is nothing but political theater to enable the transfer of wealth and power to governments and corporations at the expense of the middle and lower classes.
