Yeah but you got a week's rest. Bonus right?
No because later in the season we will be playing better rested teams.
Against Everton things would have been equal as we both had several important players missing.

Their pressing is insane.

The way Kevin De Bruyne just goes all in....feck me. And they're 3 up too.

I don't know....they look bloody good.
They look great, but Chelsea are barely trying or pressing them. They have surrendered the game since the half time apparently.

Chelsea are done, I don't think Lampard will see out January.

10 league goals in 2300mins odd. Not bad, but you'd hope for better given he's meant to be Chelsea starting forward, maybe the injuries have slowed his progress this season so i'm probably being a little harsh.
I am biased of course but I would have rather got him in the fold back then than messing about with the possibility of Sancho.

Can’t believe how relieved I am that we didn’t sign Werner. Jota has looked a much better signing.

The more worrying thing for Chelsea should be how weak they've looked today. People talk about winning those 50/50 balls. Chelsea today haven't even tried to go for those 50/50 balls let alone winning them.

Liverpool is where they are due to their smart recruitment. Obviously Klopp is good but the recruitment has been top notch.

This is why I say, where you can, try and sign players from the same league.

Whilst it not guaranteed the player will be a success, it's certainly less of a risk.

I seem to recall a journalist on one of the podcasts I listen to saying Klopp had reservations about Werner being a confidence junkie. Needs bigging up constantly otherwise he shrinks

Klopp would have got him firing, players just want to play for him, best man manager since Fergie

What's the point of crossing the ball when you've got Giroud on the bench and have no real target man up front?

1 win in 6 games, 4 of those games were losses. Even top 4 is beginning to slip away.

It's a shame that City barely broke a sweet this half thanks to how Chelsea decided to throw the towel completely. They'll be well up to it in the cup semi final.

If I was a Chelsea fan, I'd be questioning why Werner is starting games instead of Giroud.

Commentator is a waffling bafoon but makes a good point here. You're 3-0 down and you've left Giroud and Abraham on the bench....

You don’t know that Klopp wouldn’t have got him peaking. Jota to Chelsea could have looked just as poor.

I wouldn’t write Werner off, either. I suspect come next season he’ll have a world class manager with him at Chelsea, he could be a different animal 6-12 months down the line

Interesting. Klopp’s always been quite particular about personalities.

So apparently Aguero hasn’t scored in the league for almost 12 months.I find that incredible.

The postponement of the previous City game worked in their favour. I bet many coaches would have preferred to have that privilege.
