United gonna give win handy in the end. Having a real poacher like Cavani will be worth 10-15 points for them this season. He's the type of player we'd need at City to get the job done. Tonight again showed we're not putting teams away and we need a scorer to have control I feel.
Signing Cavani was huge as I thought it would be when he got his match fitness up. Can continue giving Rashford the odd rest here and there particularly as Greenwood is having that tricky second season for various reasons.

Without Cavani we are fecked. Our front lines head goes down when we miss easy chances, early on.
His doesnt. He and Fernandes mentality doesnt care if they feck a chance or 2 up. Theyll put the next 1 away.

Exactly they are the chips are down kind of players. The guys you want in the trenches. A goalscorer like Cavani for those crucial moments is huge. Plus his attitude and know how having done pretty much it all will be great in the dressing room. Rashford is a better player but he can learn a lot from Cavani and his influence on Greenwood could be huge.

Very. City deserved to win but not like that.
We made some mad blocks first half from shots going on target. Second half Gundogan somehow couldn't sort his feet out from the corner and Cancelo hit shot against bar from close range.

They deserved to win. Would've prefered any of those to go in than how we conceded eventually.

Nice hit from Pogba. He gets some real bangers when he's confident.

Man. United mentality away from home is incredible.

Am sure there was a Fergie season years ago when they fell behind about 10 times away from home and won them all, same story here.

Amazing save there, thought Cavani was gonna bury that.

What's the deal with Mitrovic? Get he's been poor and fitness issues but surely should be putting him on instead of Kamara.

For all the good work Fulham have done with their backline and midfield still feels they're a CF light. Sign one and have Lookman and Cavaliero either side and that looks decent enough.

Has Mario Lemina ever been good? Can remember some fans on here wanting Man. United to sign him the other summer.

The gap at the top is beginning to open up a bit, Liverpool 6 points behind us in 4th.

Starting to feel like we can go all the way this year. The spirit within the team is as good as it's been in years.

Nearly threw it away in the end but United good value after going behind.

I nearly had a heart attack at the end there.

I miss our midtable days where results didn't matter as much. There is some comfort in being a nothing club.

This is United's chance to win the league

Once things go back to normal they'd need to get much much much better than this to compete with city. This season though? You can win a title on individual quality alone

Right?! It's so much more relaxing watching games when you're rubbish. We really need to win tomorrow if we're going to keep alive in this race.

FA Cup game seems so worthless on Sunday.

Not gonna lie, I jumped off my chair and celebrated, then I realized it was wide.
All that matters is another 3 points on the board in a hectic part of the season. I thought you were comfortable for the most part and should have been a couple up before the late nerves. There is something about you guys, seeing Pogba with clenched fists etc.. seems miles away from 2 months ago. A real fight about you guys now you've been missing for awhile. 80ish points from your last 38 games too, around the same as both Liverpool and City. Could be a 3 horse race till the end, 4 if Leicester don't fall away.

I don't think you'll see City or Liverpool reach those levels again. Maybe one of them gets to the low 90's in the next couple of years but I think you're more likely to see teams winning the league with mid to high 80's now. Liverpool and City's points over the last three seasons were unique and won't happen again for a long time.

FA Cup game seems so worthless on Sunday.
Wish I could agree but I watched loads of games from City in League 1 where football doesn't get more meaningless and similar for the first 30 years of my life, was still a bag of nerves.

I hate how invested in games I am again now, I forgot just how fecking miserable I got at times under Fergie when we dropped points in a title race. I was screaming at the TV tonight I was so pissed off with what I was seeing haven't been like that for years :(

Great isn’t it? :) I still haven’t calmed down about that Nani red card.

Nah, too much money, getting too smart about it, and with Guardiola in charge they'll keep churning out 90+ points season.

Liverpool sure, i expect them to fall off, but not City, and in general i expect league winners in the 90+ points for a while yet. United need to improve to that level to win in the near future imho

Yeah same for me, was a nervous wreck more in championship needing to get back up to this level and then last year in desperate fight to stay up.

This season I'm far more relaxed and just enjoying us play. We've not quite got the all round qualiy of top 6 team but we're giving everyone a very hard game home and away and that's enough for me as it's over a decade since we last did that in premier league.

Yeah thats kinda the way for me. When I watch City play these days, even finals and stuff its more a giddy excitement that said I still complain like feck. When we were shit I was much more nervous for some reason. Kinda in the headspace now where I'm like "I never thought I'd see us do this in my lifetime might as well enjoy it.".
