Don't make a transfer to DCL. Learn from your mistake. In a session like this, with the added threat of Covid, try wait until the last minute.
It's a pain for me as I took KdB out last week and had a choice of 1 tfr (no cost, lots of spare cash) or a few tfrs (minus points or WC).
Chose first option and plan was to make 1 tfr per week (Gundogan was first thankfully) but with Kane out too, I either keep an expensive player who gets no points or sell him and have cash coming out of my ears.
I might just sell him and with my £18m (yip), use the WC and do 5-6 tfrs. Set myself up for when I do BB.

Not getting Kane in for a -4 turned out to be a brilliant move.
Now though I have no idea who to captain this week.
So the players I am thinking about getting in might be my captain in the end. Digne, DCL, Cancelo, Maddison, Barnes, Grealish.

Finally this horrorshow of a round is over. Got everything wrong and dropped like a stone in all my leagues:
- Had to take hits for both of Vardy and KDB going into the round
- Stones and Foden only players from City (Foden got 51 minutes and was not involved in any of the goals, Stones got his CS)
- Grealish, Watkins and Stones my only players with more than 2 points (Antonio stuck on the bench, while Bamford got 58,9 minutes and was not involved in any goals)
- Fernandes Captain (At least I was not alone on this one)
- Salah bricked again (had deserved that goal at least)
- Ended on 33 points (-8 points in hits, 25 net)......... GW-rank 6000000!
- One of my biggest rivals had Cancelo as captain (by misclick) plus Gundo, Soucek, Saka, Stones and Antonio already on Tuesday (87 points). I was on net 1 point after Tuesday.......

Because both the players that usually assist his goals (Digne and Rodriguez) are now fit and playing. Also they have Newcastle & Leeds in the next two as well as a potential double in 24.Why are people mentioning DCL? He hasn't scored for an age.

I might bring Digne in actually. He's only played 10 games this season and assisted in 6 of them. Defenders seem to be bagging all the points lately. Will shift that lump AWB.
Any indication what their fixtures for the double would be for 24? Fulham and?

Option 1 is take out Che Adams for DCL. He has a couple of sweet fixtures coming up and will be a stop-gap until Kane returns.
Option 2 is to swap Robertson for Cancelo. I feel Cancelo has two guaranteed clean sheets coming up. His fixtures toughen up after that but City have so many double gameweeks coming up that it feels useful to have him...

Never say never, but he came off on 52 mins last game. I'd be confident of him starting. Not sure about captaincy though - but that's mainly because I can't see Gundogan keeping this insane run of goals up. Maybe that's me being foolish...
Yeah captain is a tricky one this week. Was gonna be Kane but now I'm not sure. Cancelo might be rotated so I'm thinking Gundogan or Son.

Nice! Mine has an average team, but is really well set up for fixtures this week. Chelsea keeper, everton and Leicester defenders. All of them have great fixtures, where as I have West Ham, Leeds and Rashford
Bamford, Antonio & Watkins. On paper the weakest part of my team this week. Toying with DCL in for Bamford, Digne in for AWB or both but I don't really think a hit is necessary.54 points this week. Had Soucek on the bench

My cup opponent and I have Dias, Bruno (c), Saka, Gundogan and Salah. I'm tempted to take the captaincy off Bruno and give it to DCL or Salah.
Considering a -4 for Smith Rowe to Salah, and Kane to either DCL or Antonio.
Even doing the more expensive DCL keeps a mad 1.8m in the bank, even after upgrading a midfielder by 8m

Would have to bench Bamford, and decide on who to bench each week from an incredible midfield and 3 scorers up front.

Done my transfer. Robertson out for Cancelo. Was considering DCL but Cancelo pretty much guarantees clean sheets for the next two (if he plays) and City have a bunch of DGWs coming up. Plus Robertson about to drop in price (makes sense as Liverpool barely have a defence) and Cancelo about to go up again soon... Made sense.

I find Maddison as a good transfer. He is replica of our Bruno. Everything goes from him in Leicester (i am giving Rashford one more game and then i will buy Maddison)
