Can't believe people were writing these feckers off.
My £100 at 8-1 was a steal last week.

Interesting to note that Liverpool still play their best football when they are direct.
Thiago has slowed then down and made them less direct, to the detriment of Salah.

Great they're back to form thought West Ham may at least have put up some challenge

Probably means Klopp doesn't bring Firmino on so my main fantasy league rival gets 13 points Pereira off his bench...

Theyre back to form, sickening

I hate it but I admire how high up Liverpool are with their patchwork defence. That's what self confidence does.

Unsurprisingly, our lead over Livepool almost completely wiped out. Even when they have our annual injury disaster instead of us, we can't really get our noses well in front.

Couldn’t agree more. People are so reactionary. I think it’s just as reactionary to fully count us out though after our first poor week in months.

Not Martial but we have had our fair share of these counters.
very rare we take advantage of it though, Shaqiri picked out his run if it was either of ours they’d try do a pointless step over or something and lose the ball.

Tbf, that’s a great goal. The type we should be scoring more. Still nowhere near as good as the Park-Roo-Ron combination in the 2009 CL semi though.

If that’s Liverpool defending the counter, they’d get a cynical tactical foul in there whilst WH just ran back gormlessly. So passive. That’s the difference.

We have scored better counters than this one fairly regularly under Ole to be honest.

Funny when we score such goals they are termed individual brilliance or counter attacking but when pool scores , wow what a brilliant goal.

Even when missing so many key players them and City still have so much more quality than the rest of the teams , this is quickly going to turn into a two horse race again at the top. Even understrenght they are way ahead of everyone else when it comes to the business end of the season.

I stuck £20 on, 8-1 were outrageous odds. Odds are so volatile, United went from 5-2 to 11-1 following our loss to Sheffield.

Liverpool win vs City and it’s game on. (feck sake).

I liked it last week when Liverpool were struggling and we were talking possible title challenge

Well we have to agree to disagree. Our counter attacking is our biggest strength. In fact our 3rd goal against West Ham was a beautiful thru ball by Mata to put Rashford thru on goal, all on the counter.

Tbf, that was two sensational long balls. It’s just quality, nothing to do with West Ham who had to commit bodies forward to try to score from the corner.

Yup , I think it was just United fans giddy over being top and Liverpool having their first bad patch in about three years. But it’s between them and city for title. They’ll pull clear of the rest now.

Yeah tbf that was a great goal. You almost scored a really good counter attacking goal in the 2008 final I think?

They have their mojo back it seems but unless they get VVD back they won't win the league. City's to lose.

So Liverpool are capable of coming through a seriously rough patch, but we are incapable of overcoming a lull?

They still won’t be winning the league with that defence. City can bury them for sure when they meet soon. No surprise spurs and west ham have helped them regain some confidence.
