Jake Humphrey “We’re sitting here talking about a refereeing decision after a joint record Premier League victory. What does that tell you?” That you brought it up you clown.
But we were 6 up before the refereeing decision

Glen doddle and Co on bt blaming var and modern officiating because we're slaughtered a team 9-0.

Sometimes there is a gulf in class. It happens. Just admit we were ruthless and Southampton were there for the taking

Record equalling victory and all they can talk about is VAR ffs. Shame the ref took pity and didn't add more time on for all the decisions though. Giving everybody a 10.

Enjoyable win, felt like we could've scored another 4 if we had 10 more minutes.

Seldom do I care about football players, but damn... Alexandre Jankewitz is not going to have a good evening. Poor bastard. They sent out a team to lose with all their injuries, but that was harsh on the debutant. But hey, it’s the big leagues and it’s a squad game - you pay for it. I had money on Cavani and Rashford to score, both were more than double your money... figured at least one of them would do it. Boom.

Never in doubt obviously, plenty of good performances but not the most difficult of days to be honest.

I felt bad for Southampton near the end, and I thought it was pretty shameful of Martial to dive at 6-0 up. Didn't they get rid of the red card for last-man-fouls resulting in penalty when it isn't violent conduct or whatever they call it?

Great to see us being absolutely ruthless, game was over after the 1st red 2nd one was harsh but credit to everyone where did he get 3 minutes from.

Very happy after the last 2 games

The pundits seem furious that we scored nine goals. Not really sure as to why.

Writing ws on the wall for Southampton after that early sending off- but we were merciless and clinical.
how enjoyable was that, dont see that many times in your life. I remember two 9-0,s and Ive been watching since Tommy doc days.
Nice to see Martial get 2 nice goals will boost him no end.

Not too much sympathy after their player's simulation got McGuire carded. They got what they deserved.

3 poor decisions in the game though.

1. We should've got a PK in the 1st half.
2. Soton's disallowed goal when we were 4-0 up.
3. Soton's second red for the PK.

Kept a clean sheet.
Bruno scored and had an assist.
Martial scored twice. Our FBs looked great.
We were clinical.
They did play with 10 players, but it was an obvious red card, so who gives a shit

That loss against Sheffield hurts... Let's hope Burnley can do something tomorrow

Not sure why people are moaning about the 3 minutes of added time. OK, we might have scored one more but there's also the risk of players being injured for what really amounts to nothing.

I don't think people should over-celebrate this win. We lost to fecking Sheffield United, beating 10 men over 90 mins should be nothing to go over the top about.

Also, VAR is idiotic.

Yeah not too bad, decisions went our way as well. Even their goal was ruled out because one of the hairs on his leg was offside. Just one of those days when everything goes for you.
Hah I was actually watching. Just a baffling game all round not sure we actually got out of second gear and popped 9 in. Just a really, really comfortable day out.

Weird game. 9-0 is obviously a fantastic result, but hard to read too much into it, although its marvellous for the confidence of our attack.
Disagree. Still, after their red card they should be able to sustain defensive structure for some time. We moved the ball very well today, and that is we take from this. My god that felt good!

Agree, It's not like they can say our NINE goals were unjustified by VAR hahahahaha.
