What he did in the 90th minute would have won us 3 points on Saturday.

I see no reason why we shouldn’t give him a run. Let’s see what he’s properly about.
The defence looked far better; West Ham were awful offering nothing

Their performance just about summed up moyes time at United

He looked calm today. Nice touch near the end to dribble out of danger.

What can you say. Had very little to do but did it well. Jury’s still out, but there’s only one way to know. Deserves a longer run for sure.

His effort is visible and the more Ole give him minutes now, the better he'll be in future.

Gotta love a keeper who actually comes off his line for crosses

Should start the next league game

Does what it says on the tin. No cock ups or indecision.

Comes off his line when defenders expect him too and clears it into row z if he needs too.

I know he didn’t have much to do but I thought he did well. When he came and claimed a ball about 15 yards from goal I pretty much celebrated it like a we’d scored. Did anyone else get a lovely warm feeling inside seeing our goalie claim a ball that far out? It’s the main thing I miss from the days of Schmeichel and VDS. It can make a huge difference, particularly with regards to confidence from the rest of the defence, knowing if a ball comes over the top their keeper is gonna be claiming it if they don’t.

I‘ve always been a fan of DDG but you do wonder if it’s time to give Henderson a run of games now and see how he does. I feel like what he may lack in certain areas compared to DDG he makes up for in others that may compliment this particular set if defenders in a way that DDG attributes don’t.

Agree. Unfortunately Ole doesn't seem brave enough to take the required action
I’ve agreed with Ole’s handling of just about every big decision he’s had to make here so far, but he needs to make this decision, once and for all, at the weekend. I’m concerned that he won’t.

Worth a punt on goal in the league.

Maybe switching it up a bit shows that nobody is untouchable.

Kick in the teeth for all of them, maybe wake the feck up call is what we need.

God knows Martial and Rashford need it.

I particularly enjoyed the clearance he made, not too disimilar to Everton's first goal on Saturday, where De Gea just pushed it out a couple of yards, but Henderson cleared the area with his punch, in fact it set up an attack.

I don’t know if he’s good enough fundamentally at shotstopping and distribution, but the one thing I do like about his game is that he is very proactive and will come out for balls. That’s such a welcome sight after De Gea has been glued to his line for the past 10 years.

Nice game, I would play him the rest of the season to see whether he's able to handle the pressure.

Handling the crossing very well. Showed a skill on his feet in the last minute. The thing I like about Dean is he can bounce back quickly from mistakes & accept criticism which not easy for young keeper and also brave keeper. He has promising mentality, whether he is good in his ability is something he will need to show more since a year in PL with Sheffield United and few games with us is not enough to show his ability.

The fact he comes for crosses and can venture off his line means he’s my automatic number 1. Too bad he’s not on £350k a week

Has all the attributes you would want from a modern keeper particularly with fairly quiet characters at centre half. Might not be as flashy as DDG with his flying saves but trumps DDG on everything else now. Plus I get the impression he is desperate to get into the team more whereas DDG just appears to expect it hence a lack of real emotion when DDG keeps cocking up. Big call for Ole incoming.

So much better than DDG.

He needs to start. Will he make mistakes? Yes. But DDG also does, and has done for the past 3 years.

Either Hendo will prove himself, or we will get a new GK in the summer. Stop fecking around, Ole.

TBF De Gea during his peak was a lot more proactive with it as well. When he was at the height of his confidence he minimized that weakness to his game IMO. It's as bad as it's ever been now though unfortunately. But I agree, Henderson I think should get the starting role, if not this season, certainly next season and give him time to make it his own (if he can that season). A goalkeeper lacking confidence, who is scared to come off his line and deal with high balls, who doesn't have the bravery to throw his body at the feet of attackers is a bad combination and it's just his time to move aside now.

Am not fully convinced about him but at least he shows some bravery and the CB’s possibly look a bit more assured with him, though that will only be proved after a run of games.

Came to say this, thought exactly the same at the time. None of us really know how good he's going to be yet, but I'm sure we'll never question his commitment. Give him a run.

For obvious reasons feel far more confident during set pieces in our half with Henderson in goal.

no idea what he means

Here's the last 3 min

@ClaytonBlackmoorLeftPeg Really you really have a problem to overlook some basic things like this stupid loss of possession with your favourite players like at 1:45, that was one of their most dangerous chances to threat us. We should really give the scouting to you if we want to be a mid table club. And this was just a random clip I bumped into, he had another positional mistake in midfield for the little time he was there. Talking about fanboys

He should get the rest of the season. If he gets going to his Sheffield form he should claim his nr1 spot. If not we need a new keeper.
