Rashford will play. Guaranteed. And we don't even know if Martial and Cavani miss the game.
Injured still afaikImpossible to pick a team until there are some real injury updates on the strikers.
i thought we had a strongish squad but take out Rashford and martial and pogba and clearly we dont. Where’s VDB.???????
Gotcha! You found a flaw in my impeccable logic?
I was coming on to ask about this. Can he definitely not?Thank god Messi LinGod can't play against us.
Pretty sure. Didn’t play in The FA Cup either.I was coming on to ask about this. Can he definitely not?
Dalot played a part in denting our europa league hopes despite being our player, so i didn't know if there was a rule change.
He can’t play against us, it’s an FA rule. Dalot played last night because it’s in a European competition and UEFA have different rules.I was coming on to ask about this. Can he definitely not?

Guaranteed blank. Rather play Telles than that midfield three. If Cavani, Martial and Rashford are all missing then I think it would be the perfect opportunity to play a flat midfield three of McTominay, Fred and Matic and then get Bruno playing as a false 9 with Amad and Greenwood playing as inside-forwards in the Liverpool mould
I see the name Martial and sadly don't even see him as a danger to opposition any more. Hopefully Cavani and Rashford make this one or we're probably fecked.Rashford will play. Guaranteed. And we don't even know if Martial and Cavani miss the game.
I don't agree because you can play Greenwood and Amad much higher, safe in the knowledge that they have three hard-working and defensively minded midfield players behind them.Guaranteed blank. Rather play Telles than that midfield three.
... With the last kick of the game.We have to win. Somehow. We just have to. But you can see Soucek scoring a header at a West Ham set piece can't you?
If Rashford isn't back then I'd pair Greenwood and Amad as the front 2, but the issue is we don't have a striker to play our usual 4-2-3-1, neither Rashford or Mason suit the lone #9 role.If none of our players are back Amad has to start. We've had enough troubles scoring in recent matches without voluntarily starting an extra defender.
Liverpool fan?Home games fill me with dread now.
Moyes should buy Fellaini. Can you imagine both Soucek and Fellaini on the pitch at the same time? It would be a nightmare to defend high balls against them.We have to win. Somehow. We just have to. But you can see Soucek scoring a header at a West Ham set piece can't you?
Greenwood is more than capable of playing up front and Fernandes plays like a second striker most of the time anyway. Either way, playing a 3rd defender isn't going to alleviate those issues. If Rashford isn't back then I'd pair Greenwood and Amad as the front 2, but the issue is we don't have a striker to play our usual 4-2-3-1, neither Rashford or Mason suit the lone #9 role.
I think Mason has struggled centrally at senior level, he even talked about finding CB's physically difficult to deal with in the PL when he was interviewed by Rio. It's not about how many attackers we have on the pitch, it's about a system to get the best out of the forwards we have available.Greenwood is more than capable of playing up front and Fernandes plays like a second striker most of the time anyway. Either way, playing a 3rd defender isn't going to alleviate those issues.
Follows the usual pattern except it’s usually for rather than against usThank god Messi LinGod can't play against us.
Moyes isn't going to come to Old Trafford to attack us. He'll defend and play for the draw. It'll be whether we'll manage to score or not. With our injury crisis, I definitely see a loss upcoming.
Is Antonio available for West Ham? I think he is going to put in a lot of crosses and not attack us much to leave space behind his defense.Moyes aren't going to come to Old Trafford to attack us. He'll defend and play for the draw. It'll be whether we'll manage to score or not.
Don't know, but I checked on their forum and they seem to putting him in their predicted lineup so maybe he has a chance to play it or something. Is Antonio available for West Ham? I think he is going to put in a lot of crosses and not attack us much to leave space behind his defense.
He did that in the recent FA Cup tie in Old Trafford and it backfired in extra time.Moyes aren't going to come to Old Trafford to attack us. He'll defend and play for the draw. It'll be whether we'll manage to score or not.
Yes he's available. Started in their last 3 games scoring twice. Is Antonio available for West Ham? I think he is going to put in a lot of crosses and not attack us much to leave space behind his defense.
How boring is this crapThank god Messi LinGod can't play against us.
You can't just replicate a system and expect it to work just because it worked for another team. You need the right players. McTominay, Fred and Matic are nowhere near Henderson, Fabinho and Wijnaldum. Plus they have experience of playing together.I don't agree because you can play Greenwood and Amad much higher, safe in the knowledge that they have three hard-working and defensively minded midfield players behind them.
It seemed to work fine for Liverpool when they were winning the PL and the CL with a midfield of Henderson, Fabinho and Wijnaldum
I think it´s more likely to see Telles on the left wing than Amad starting. If Rashford and Martial are out our attack is only going to get younger than it already is anyway with Greenwood and Amad starting, might be league record for the youngest front 3 (maybe we already hold this record last season with a front 3 of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood).
