Ohhhhh sorry I didn't see the date.

That is the very definition of a recency bias based hot take
99% of football journalism is just that plus the narratives that develop to confirm said hot takes.

We should all stop laughing at Jose. Finishing a very distant second was the proudest moment of his career.

It will be hard for old Jose to watch Ole equal that record in a few weeks.

Spurs as a club have made some crippling mistakes over the last two years. Primary among them was believing that they could get a manager who would make the most out of the resources available than Pochettino. And then they went ahead and hired the most prominent check-book manager of our times.

Maybe they got carried away with the large stadium, promise of increased revenues, and earnings from NFL games and covid happened at the worst time for them. That's why organic growth is more stable than inorganically trying to expedite your progress. That only works if you have a bottomless pit of money like City.

Now, it becomes a real entertainment business. Please keep Jose, Levy! Jose is the spark of the EPL’s entertaining nature.

Credit to Mou for managing to make one of the more likeable sides in Spurs into one of the most unlikeable, and for making Son a c*nt all in 16 odd months
Yeah I was thinking this earlier. Spurs used to be a team I quite liked and would usually root for as a neutral. Now I’m starting to despise them.

Welcome to our world .

Mourinho is just the icing on the cake. Spurs quite often seem to have "12 men" last few seasons and so happy Utd came back today. Made my weekend.

Yeah I think a lot of oppo fans liked them in the sense that they used to play decent football and have entertaining games whilst never really being a real threat.

Now even when they are in 7th they are just dislikable, awful football, cheating fecks and Mourinho to boot.

The special once strikes again

The way his teams collapse after being 1-0 up given the attack they have is a joy given he's no longer our manager

I think it was also the players. I liked Son's bubbly character, Kane, Eriksen, Vertonghen, etc. because they seemed to play fair and all.

Now, look at them - Kane with that ridiculous checking on the player mid-air, Son's antics today, Lamela earlier this season and so on.

I'm amazed that he's trying to gain some moral high ground on what was a figure of speech by Ole. Absolute desperation. It does deflect from the shithousery of his players, but it's cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The good news is that result today pretty much condemns Spurs to finish outside the top 4 so I’ll have £50 bet coming in from two of my mates. Even when they were top and everyone was gushing, I knew they were a bang average side. I’m still shocked that people argued they had a better squad than us. I reckon those same people are now saying the same things about Chelsea...Newsflash, we have the second best squad in the league pretty comfortably.

A decade ago getting a 3-1 win against Mourinho at home after going a goal down would've been considered monumental, now its standard fare.

I think they have decent squad not worse than us on paper. It’s the way they play as a unit doesn’t bring out the most.

Typical Mourinho, making an agenda to divert blame away from yet another defeat.

The guy implodes under pressure, he always does. Spurs have big decision ahead.

It’s honestly not even close. Kane and Son are the only players with having, the rest are bang average. Utd are massively underrated though by many people.

I think Spurs made a huge mistake getting rid of Pochettino. Time will show this. Regarding Mourinho the game and tactics has moved on. He knows football and what makes great players, and can be very good tactically in one off games but his reluctance to evolve is his downfall. He skirted around it in his interview but he doesn't think his players are good enough, a few players like Alli have fallen out with him so he needs money to rebuild and I don't think Spurs have the money to rebuild unless the sell Kane.

Spurs forum..
Before the game
We will beat this shower of shit. You read it here first.
Even if we do, they're still going to finish above us and will probably win the Europa too.
Ole > Jose.
There is NO WAY we don't absolutely smash this lot next week.
3-1.
Top 4 charge back on
Shaw to two foot Mourinho on the sideline?
I can only see one outcome from this game... the only shining light is that ole bottles more big games than us
Looking at the form of Chelsea, Liverpool and West Ham we are going to finish 7th. The team is not as good as those 3 and Leicester are too far ahead.
Even 7th is optimistic. Lets see how shit we play today first.
God I hate Yanited so much.
So how are we going to feck it up this time lads?
An whole week to prepare. Against a side that was in Europe this week meaning their players should be more tired (they’ve already shown signs of fatigue in there last few matches). Against a side where he knows the players better than OGS dose with ours. And we are at home.

Utd are safe in 2nd they aren’t going to catch City, so another marginal game in our favor.

Absolutely zero excuse, nothing short of a win is acceptable.
and if we lose you will do ... what?
Apart from being back for the Everton game that is.
For the love of God relax man, you support the only team worth following.
Game starts...
Pogba looks ready to kill someone, some of these Utd players are going to push it to the absolute maximum just to get one over Jose.
Tyler and Neville banging on about problems in a naming rights partner for the stadium. Would they ever feck off.

Now we’re onto Harry’s future.
Pogba being a cnut. Anyway
Stop ducking fouling us you bunch of manc cnuts
Only 8 mins in and the ref is already annoying the feck outta me!
Hope PeH breaks Pogbas legs
If our player did what pogba just did there would be a half an hour VAR check for a red card
Ref is in Uniteds pocket
Is Pogba truly world class?
Yes. A world class cnut
God the United cocksucking from the commentary I mean propaganda team is nauseating
Terrible tackle Mctominay
I think someone just shot Tanguy
United players aiming to injure someone before HT, clearly
McTominay looks like a young offender.
Shaw looks like a Rumanian potato farmer
Is son back on military duty. Anonymous
99% of his passes are back/side passes. He’s useless
This United team looks like they’re on the beach
feck off rashford you absolute vagina
feck off Ratford you little cnut
I didn't know rashford's ankle was connected to his nose
Worst utd team I've seen in 20 years
Dissalowed goal
Great Dier you cnut
Time to go Jose.
Please feck off
That's a foul.
He puts his finger into his eye.
If its disallowed, he gets a 2nd yellow
Cant see it, with it being man ure
fecking Dier and Rodon and no idea where each other were and no idea where Cavani was.
There is no way this should be called back but its VAR so who knows.
What the feck is that shit tier beard on Cavani?
Then you have to book him Ref, cant have that both ways.
We got lucky with that
Jesus fecking Christ we have got away with that.
Glad it went in our favor but that is an absolute joke
If you disallow the goal has to be second yellow
I don't think it's a foul, very lucky

If the hand on Son is a foul, so is the pull on McT's arm. But I'll take it
2nd booking Man Utd got away with that
That was just holding off , harsh imo....still sod em.
It was definitely a foul and he's lucky he didn't get a second yellow
Lamela was given a second yellow for much less
This referring is a fecking disgrace
He hits him in the face it's a foul
Some of you lot are clowns, an accidental poke in the eye is not a fecking second yellow card
If one of our players were sent off for that we'd be fuming. Let's not get greedy. Just got out of jail
1-0
Luvvly, jubbly!!!!
LOOOOOOOL feck off Cavani
Gary Neville... go feck yourself, you biased, big nosed cnut.
Keep having to check I’m not watching MUTV coverage. Tyler and Neville are an absolute joke.
I hope Sonny is okay , he may need facial reconstruction surgery after that assault! Luckily the best surgeons are in S Korea
Up your arses manure!!!!
Hilarious. Man Utd must be cursing Son. Shame he didn’t rub his face as part of his goal celebration
Well deserved from us, nearly robbed by these ref paying cnuts.
AWB is so unbelievably bad
"Best defensive rb in the world", a literal headless chicken
he cost 50m btw
Hahahaha Solskijar’s face
Cavani Cavani
Shit tasting biryani
feck YOU
Some top diving and rolling around from us today.
He clipped Rodon I don't know what Cavani is so upset about.
Cavani is a nasty piece of work, dirty player
One more bit of filth from Cuntvani or McTomicunt and they're off.
Sonny winding them up like there’s no tomorrow
feck off Fernandes you rat faced twat
Fantastic.
Now remember which team loses leads and which one has a record of coming back.
We need a 2nd it's as simple as that.
Did anyone else shit themselves when Gollum was death staring?
7-1 on aggregate
Son is proving to be a thorn in their side.
He loves scoring against the Manchester clubs
Deservedly ahead until the goal. Not liking how we're looking after we scored. They're there for the taking. Mctominay is a cnut
United crying at half time. Muppets

HT
DON'T PARK THE BUS JOSE !!!!!!!!!!!
fecking united getting in refs ear at HT. Whinging bunch of melts.
Anyone see the Netflix documentary Night Stalker Ed Cavani looks like that serial killer Richard Ramirez
United crying about referees... Now they know how we’ve felt against them for the last 50 years.

cnuts
If I have to watch another Mourinho disasterclass in the 2nd 45mins where we sit and soak and concede 2 goals late on I am going to be fecking fuming.

This is supposed to be the 2nd best team in the country and they are ordinary as feck. We've been okay but obviously Dier vs Cavani is going to get exploited again at some point. Please keep pressure up and keep looking for goals, for the love of god.
If I hear someone refer to Mctominay as "Mcsauce" i'm going to break their kneecaps
Don’t usually watch half time pundits but worth laughing at Keane I reckon
Former United Captain Keane disagrees with the Ref. Surprise.
Roy Keane whining about Son being embarrassing
cnut
Mctominay thinks he’s Roy Keane when in reality is the Scottish cleverley
Suck my fat one Roy Keane you ugly motherfecker
So Keane says thats not a foul but Lamela is an idiot by all accounts by Keane yet again
Keane having chickens about the foul on Son
"This is not football anymore” so claims the player who champions Manchester fecking City. Absolute cnut.
feck me,, no-one going to see our point of view then.. I really hate these biased pundits.
NBC crying about the VAR decision, fecking ridiculous how biased the media is.
Tbf they have a point we would ve fuming if that was us
It's like a bleedin wake in the Sky commentary team at half time...... Even Redknapp is "disgusted"
The rage of a Latin man going bald prematurely.
Growing it longer is fooling nobody Edinson, that headband is almost on top of your head.
#BobbyCharlton
Sky sports in tears. Loving it
hope someone beats Keane until his nose falls off. Useless cnut who was never a footballer, just a psycho thug enforcer with a two inch penis.
Forever the angry little cnut because he has never once been able to satisfy a woman.
Remember Pedro mendes Keane you fecking cnut.
Glenn hoddle saying its a goal no free. Paul ince and dermot gallagher saying its a free!!! What the feck is hoddles problem with us lately? Have to be biased against spurs to get a job now
Sky are Manure and Manure are Sky. They are a symbiotic being co-existing for mutual advantage. Their weeping is grist for our filthy poetry.
United crying about referees is embarassing. Do they have no self awareness? Utter, utter cnuts
45 minutes to see our the game out and spare us of another few days of "Kane must leave Spurs" speculation.

Translate the idiom boys, pull your weight a bit and show you can be productive members of a virtual society.
It's a commonly used expression but it doesn't really mean much. It's along the lines of "obvious", as opposed to something that it isn't what it seems.

In the quoted context I'd guess he means something like "Ole has shown his true colors". If meant as an insult it's as vague a saying as it can be.

@Brwned was pretty much on it with his interpretation. "Let's call a spade a spade" is probably a very similar expression.

It's Mourinho acting like if we all know what he means, when he really means nothing.

It's quite funny seeing Jose trying to start his mind games with Ole given this is probably the last time they'll ever face each other.

The older Mourinho gets the more he sounds like Rafa Benitez
Exactly. He's become devoid of charm and wit and also the video linked?? I mean... Ricky Gervais wouldn't even have written lines that cringe and stupid for David Brent.
