One word. Posturizing.Well that's an end to it then. Players will not have that happen.

Sky Sports News just said that developments are expected in the next half an hour to an hour.
Clubs would have to increase their pay substantially otherwise many would take a pay cut to still play in other competitions.Well that's an end to it then. Players will not have that happen.
The clubs will get what they want. It’s all about who gets what in the end. UEFA will give in soon enough imo.Meaning we just carry on without this messy situation?
The UEFA statement says players COULD be banned. It's the clubs that would be banned, but I'm not sure they will really care.UEFA have reiterated Fifa's stance that players taking part in the Super League would be banned from all other competitions at domestic, European or world level and could be prevented from representing their national teams.
I'll have you know I had a hair cut this week*I always imagined you like a Bilbo type bloke to be fair. You just pop up on the pod amongst your fecking washing machine.
I'm not a local fan, I watch the CL final to see the 2 best teams in europe play a match. I dont care what they're called. Would a final between Arsenal and Milan be more attractive? If you are a local fan, then you might. CL final is the most watched event in the world now. No one is watching a CL final with RBL and Bayern ( no offense meant) except for Bundesliga fans .
Ok, thats from UEFA. This is old news. ESL has the backing of FIFA - the biggest football governing body- now. A good case for court. It's UEFA's official website ?

The statement is present in the front page.
I don't know if they'll go with this threat or not, it's just as long as it's a possibility and said in an official statement, it's fair for people to be concerned about our future if this goes through.
The dinosaurs looked at Chuck Norris the wrong way once. You know what happened to them. What does Chuck Norris say?
Thought he would appreciate keeping the rich rich and the poor poor.Tweet

Total joke of a threat. Not only are there a million legal impediments to this happening, but every sponsor of the World Cup and every other competition would cry bloody murder and/or pull out.UEFA have reiterated Fifa's stance that players taking part in the Super League would be banned from all other competitions at domestic, European or world level and could be prevented from representing their national teams.
WHERE IS JA!!!I wonder what Ja Rule thinks of this...
Look at Boris Johnson saying the easy and popular thing.
He's saying what everyone else is saying and thinks is right as well. And that includes plenty of other politicians and non-footballers. Why, as PM, should he be denied a voice? Or be criticised for holding the 'right' opinion in most peoples eyes?Sickening.
Wonder what else he's hiding from us and using this as a distraction. I'm so fed up. I want politicians to stay out of my sport.
No they wouldntTotal joke of a threat. Not only are there a million legal impediments to this happening, but every sponsor of the World Cup and every other competition would cry bloody murder and/or pull out.
Fair point but I won't. If those teams are banned, I'm not subscribing to CL tv .I'm not a local fan, I watch the CL final to see the 2 best teams in europe play a match. I dont care what they're called. Would a final between Arsenal and Milan be more attractive?
Yeah, in a weird way, part of me hopes this will become a reality, not because I think the Super league is a great idea, but knowing that European football supporters in general are quite conscious of the bigger picture, I could see a future where the "big guns" play in half-empty stadiums (before eventually relocating to Asia/North America), while the rest of Europe gets on with it and creates classic European nights in stadiums we've barely seen for the past 20 years.Even if I do understand why some clubs want the Superleague, I can totally realte to this. Even long ago I have reduce my time watching football as I knew that I am not really missing anything, as in a week there will be another game between to big sides, while the games against small sides are usually very boring.
Nah its more of an industrial dispute so of course he's siding with the institution with all the power over the people doing the workThought he would appreciate keeping the rich rich and the poor poor.
Spurs could have dominated the reinstated English First Division, but Levy decided it would be more profitable to finish bottom of this new Tri-Nations League.Glaston to log in the next few days proposing a fecking cheese room in some cubby hole in Paris. cnut.
He'll do a rap at the opening of the competition. But you'll soon realise that is not even his song.I wonder what Ja Rule thinks of this...
Dear ESL founders,Have Fifa said anything officially?
It would be a bloody earthquake of monumental proportions if they come out in support of this behind Uefas back.
Did he say it like McCoist says "drags" at 0:18?They just make this bloke say rattled in Scottish cause it sounds dangerous. Rattled.
Bournemouth European Champions.What's happening!?!?
This just in. Chuck says"we are not United"What does Chuck Norris say?
Honestly the fecking hypocrisy is utterly incredulous.Labour leader Keir Starmer said the clubs involved should "rethink immediately" or "face the consequences of their actions".
"This proposal risks shutting the door on fans for good, reducing them to mere spectators and consumers," he said.
Genuine question. What else are fans other than spectators and consumers?
