Jose Mourinho sacked

Deserved.

I defended him till the end here but I since realised I was just wrong and he was another shit appointment by Woodward.

A slight defence of him though, is that I do think that Spurs team is a streaming pile of shit. Bar Son and Kane. The rest aren't for enough to be competing for anything and aren't top 4 standard.
He was sacked for taking a stand against the ESL, refusing to take the players to the training ground. If anything he deserves your respect, despite what he did here.

I would have a bit of respect for him had it been over this Super League bullshit.
I reckon he's been sacked because the team has regressed under him and the players can't stand him.

I find it hard to believe he will find another job.

I am convinced he forced Levy's hand here

Mourinho knew he was getting sacked and knew if he got sacked after top 4/Europe wasn't possible then his compensation would be smaller. He must have refused to support the league and told Levy he will always speak against it etc.

Mourinho couldn't care less about the league but he will care about his money. This way it's win-win - he gets a huge pay off and gets to act an hero by saying he opposed it and was sacked because of it

Sacking him before the final is ruthless and correct. If he won it and got to put a single trophy with Spurs on his CV, it was job done and full stream ahead for running the club into the ground and waiting for another pay off.

No he wasn't, it was a fake account.

don't be fooled, he knew the writing was on the wall for him he's just been smart to use the ESL to save face
Even if it is this - which is definitely a factor - I will still respect the hell out of him. I'm certain Ole will walk the more I think about it, I have long thought he was a bit of a doormat for Woodward & the Glazers but he's vocal about United and the history and club and it seems highly unlikely he won't walk for me.

Levy is ruthless! Jose tactics are just 10 years ago now, he never learns. He will end up back in the Portuguese league, can never see him back in the PL, if he does I’ll be shocked, maybe with Arsenal perhaps

Has to be linked. Sacking a manager before a huge cup final is madness otherwise.

I can’t believe people are actually falling for that fake tweet. Same lad said Newcastle were invited to the Super League yesterday and people fell for it too

Crazy times right now! Probably a combination of a few things here rather than just results:
  • League results not good enough
  • Harry Kane injured and will miss the League Cup Final
  • Harry Kane is getting sold in the Summer
  • Jose doesn't agree with Spurs' position on the Super League idea
Could be a combination of all, some or even none of these things for all I know, but I think those are some good guesses as to why there's been disagreement.

Stupid! City totally lost their form in last 3-4 and with Mourinho in charge they had very good chance to beat them.

If that is true then respect to Jose to be fair to him. Taking a stand against it is the right thing to do.
Of course it is nonsense, this cnut cares for nothing but himself and his fat paycheck for sucking at his job.

He has never cared about any club's history or legacy, and he would not care about the ESL if it paid him big bucks.

He was fired for being shit.
