Gaming Resident Evil Village - Out 7th May 2021

Intrigued but interested to know if there'll be any graphic options. VII gave me motion sickness to the extreme with all those tight corridors and low level lights.

I had to take it back to CEX within 24 hours, which is the first and last time I've ever done that.

I really hope that Resident Evil 4 VR version wasn't the "RE4 Remake" that was being talked about, it would be terrible, I was really hoping for the full on RE4 Remake.

Of course there will be. But that won’t stop Capcom still milking the game for ever and ever.

If I had to guess we will see it announced at e3. No way would they announce it now as it would probably takeaway from Village

What VR headsets is it for? I fell asleep...

Gah this is going to be out before I ever get a PS5. Don't want play on my PS4.

Played through the demo...really enjoyed it. Almost like a Castlevania setting mixed with Resi 7 gameplay. The only question is whether to get on Series X or PS5.

Same dilemma for myself. Don't think there will be anything much between the two versions though. Both look to be aiming for 4K at 45fps which is a bit weird. I'd much rather the resolution scaled down to hit 60.

Sorry, I meant big in terms of my immediate periphery and keep ya posted as in the mild interest is likely to be less than the vague irritation. Don't worry though, it's not Rain World related.

If you know, you know.

Just played the second gameplay demo that was released today (for people in the UK). Enjoyed it more than the first one. Bit more action in it and fewer cutscenes. Still only limited to 30 mins and I completed it in about 17 mins. But yeah, decent stuff. I'm excited about the full release now.

This is going to be great, first game I'm actually excited for this generation so far.

This game really does have a RE4 tribute in an RE7 environment feel about it and thats not a bad thing by any means. Calling it that the big lady everyones lusting over like weirdos turns out to be like a Saddler monster.

And as an aside, that RE4 VR demo looked amazing too. I want to suplex plagas townsfolk in VR :D

Everyone has turned into Robert Crumb.

There is workaround for time limit for the Demo on Steam PC.

1. Disable Steam Cloud for RE8 Demo
2. Download Steam SAM (Steam Achievement Manager)
3. Delete Local Savefiles
(Located: D:\Steam\userdata\<YOUR STEAM ID>\1541780\remote\win64_save\
Delete those Files.
4. Start Steam SAM
5. Select RE8 Demo
6. Remove Achievements and Stats, confirm.

If you run the Demo now, Timer is Reset to 1 Hour.

Credits to Leaves.

So played the Demo for some time, and I don't like how enemies are bullet sponges on hardest difficulty, that is laziest way to up the difficulty.
