Leeds got what they played for in that match. Very defensive with a strong focus to stop Man United for creating goal scoring chances the very opposite of the Old Trafford encounter.

As for Man United, the unbeaten away run continues and only need 4 points from the remaining 5 games to finish in the top 4 for a 2nd season in a row.
Biesla clearly has us pegged as a team that have the right tools to hurt them, so this was one of those rare occasions where he actually compromised on his beliefs and set up specifically to nullify us. Bit of an honor, really.

In humble consideration of our results v Leeds this season . . I’m saying nothing other than that you were never going to win the PL and you’ve already cemented top 4 so the result didn’t really matter to you.
Hence, I can understand Ole playing who he played and why he directed such a tediously slow tempo. He wants your best players fit and full of energy for Thursday evening in the hope that a prize might be won, of course.
Nowt wrong with his thinking.

Very little quality on display in the final third today. 0 0 draw is a fair result. AWB was ace and we defended pretty well, not much else to shout home about. Need to up our game to beat Roma on Thursday.

Decent first half I thought, good to see us pressing high and it being effective. AWB and Shaw were excellent.

But the subs came way too late. Pogba and Cavani should have been on with 30/35 minutes to go, at least. Really needed to be doing more in the final third. It was very scrappy.

I don't know how Ole and his coaches can sit there and watch Dan James for that long and not hook him off sooner. All he was good for today was taking a kicking. He was clearly offering nothing else.

I agree. i think we win it if Greenwoood had started on the right instead of him.

Dan James was the one player in our team that looked like he was out of his depth. Could not make the right decision given the situation.
Every time he got it he made the wrong decision, by far the worst player on the pitch and like you say out of his depth.

What a shit performance Dan James put up, he spoilt every bit of attacking play we tried putting together, with either bad first touch or running headlessly.

Not amazing but still had enough opportunites to have won that with a bit more quality in the box. Very much an end of season game with having top 4 pretty much guaranteed and one eye on the Europa League semi-final.

We could have won this game if the subs were earlier. I feel Ole is just happy with a draw and has eyes on Roma. If that so, might as well rest Bruno and play VDB.

The game was riding on the hope of something special but it didn't come for either team. Could've play for another hour and the result would've finished the same.

I'm getting a little tired of Brunos negative body language, always seems to somebody else's fault, get to grip mate you're better than this.

I actually fell asleep and missed a large part of the game. For some reason when I woke up I thought we were 1-0 down until I looked at the TV again.

What I saw was flat and boring. Subs used far too late.

Perez will make this game part of his presentation on why 90 minutes of football is too long for new fans. So dull that even the ref couldn’t wait for the full added time to blow his whistle!

Only highlight was Wan-Bissaka‘s MMA takedown.

You think Paul Pogba cannot start a game on Sunday and play again on Thursday?
I don't mind him not starting, squad needs to be used, after Thursday there's another on Sunday again, and apparently hes fasting. But waiting so long to bring a player that can have an impact if he's given time to get into the match is what I find incredibly frustrating.

Dont think it would've made a slight bit of difference if the subs were made earlier. You can see how a game plays in the early stages and this looked all set-up for a draw and that's exactly what we got.
Leeds defended for their lives. They'll probably lose the next match now.

The first especially was a lesson in how to not finish chances. Second half we weren't quite as good. Disappointing really as I expected goals between these two teams but the quality really wasn't there today. Need much better on Thursday.

Cannot figure out why the coaching staff felt that second half was good enough not to make a change earlier. We threw away the 2 points through stubbornness.

Set up looked good first half but they grew into the game and were pretty comfortable with our attack. The team that has conceded 50 goals

Ole was probably 15-2 minutes late with his substitues. Fair result in the end. Liked the way we played defensively but nothing in the attack really. Leeds conceded most goals in Prem from corners, yet we hardly had a chance that way.

Had enough openings to get that first goal and open the game up a bit, but there wasn’t enough quality.

James performance shows why we need another attacker. The dip in quality is pretty costly and unfortunately our best openings fell for him.

No idea what the thinking behind the subs was. If we were actual resting players for Thursday then the likes of Rashford would have been off far sooner.

Criminal that people sat inside watching that tumescent crap on a rare day of sun.
April weather here in Sweden... 4+ and snow. The weather was about the same as that thing I saw on the TV, a joke...

We haven't played for ages and our next game is on thursday so I don't get why we needed to rest. Start Pogba and Cavani and sub them once the game is won. At least don't wait until minute 85 to get them on...

And as mentioned before, why not let VDB start instead of James?

Lacklustre performance. Phillips man marked Bruno out of the game and we had no answers. Fred, McTominay & James don’t have a creative bone in their body between them, Pogba & Cavani should have been brought on at HT.

Cant wait until we sign a real right sided attacker. James and Greenwood both looked disjointed.

Have to take our chances if we're going to win.

Sold clean sheet though regardless.

1 loss in the last 27 Premier League outings

The away record dream lives.

Just looked at the player ratings - how on earth does Greenwood get a better rating than Rashford and Bruno in this game? He achieved pretty much nothing, while those two actually played pretty well, in my view.

We’ve actually won quite a few games late, some in stoppage time. This season and over the decades.

Abit of a overreaction here. I dont necessarily think it was a bad game. Just both teams frustratingly cancelling eachother out.

Left it far too late with our subs. Looked shattered even with a week break. Quality was absolutely shocking from both teams.
Oh come on. Two excellent defensive performances, that's what that was. We were markedly better, but ultimately couldn't solve them.

Am i the only one who thinks we played well? Couldn't tell you with certainty who was playing up top for Leeds and though we were unimaginative in final third we had enough little openings to win that without ever looking like conceding.
