Don't get all of the Benzema loving all of a sudden, yes he's had a good season, but he's 33. People raving about him as if he's another Haaland. People forget the years of being frustrating, overweight and looking disinterested. Good striker, don't get me wrong, but never been quite up there for me.
Haaland will consider himself lucky to have the career Benzema has had. I don't doubt he will finish up with more goals once he is done but i don't see him having the all round ability of Benzema.

The refs been very favourable to Chelsea tonight, not used to seeing that in a Madrid game

No team in particular.

Skillwise Benzema is at least 20 times better than Haaland, who can't create his own chances when his team is playing bad.

Benzema is definitely one of RM best CFs in history, Haaland will be lucky to even be considered a top 10 CF in a huge club like RM.

What the hell, Werner scored 28 goals in the Bundesliga last year, averaging a goal every 100 minutes.

So is there a good striker in him that's yet to be unleashed at Chelsea? Or is the Bundesliga crap?

I'm willing to bet that his official name on his birth certificate is spelt without the accent on c. This is a bit like expecting Robert Mueller to spell his name Robert Müller.
I always wondered why they didn't transliterate it akin to Gregg Popovich or such. Maybe Pulishich was too much of a mouthful.

Both teams happy with this it seems, Madrid just doing damage limitation and hoofing it to Benz

You could have made this claim in any month about any player since 2009 and Messi would always be the reason he's not been.
I disagree with that general view. I think it alternatew month by month based on performance.

Even the best have off periods and others enjoy great form.

Kante has been scintillating in the past month or so. He has been the most important piece in Tuchel's Chelsea puzzle. Only game they lost was the one he didn't play in.

I'm amazed Liverpool lost to Real tbh, I was watching the City/Dortmund games but were Madrid just a lot better in those games?
Yes, comfortably better. Liverpool aren’t good this season at all.
