Delighted to see him get on the scoresheet, for obvious reasons. Its always great when anyone who comes out of our academy and makes an impact. Can't say that much more than that. Hope he goes from strength to strength. Made some good runs, did his defensive duties, lets hope he kicks on from here. For his second full start you can't have many complaints all things considered.

Pleasantly surprised by him. I expected Amad to look at home and wasn't surprised that Hannibal got stuck right in what with his personality. Out of the three of them, I thought Elanga might have been the one to struggle to impose himself. How wrong I was!

Thoroughly deserved his goal. His directness is so refreshing.

If Hannibal, Elanga, and Adam were all playing together today, I think we probably could create some real damages through counter attack. Hannibal should play more minutes but I understand what Ole wanted from Mata when we have three youngsters starting.

I was not that impressed with him last time, but he got to show a lot more today what he can do. I love the energy in his game. He´d be a fantastic press player up front.

Good movement in the box and a fine finish. But his general play needs a lot of work. Let's see how he progresses. Nerves also may play a part.

Yeah he does look a bit nervy, he's generally got a very relaxed style of play for the U23s.

He looks even faster than Rashford, or is it just me?

What is the next step for him? A championship loan? There will certainly be interest after yesterday’s performance.

I would say a PL loan should be next step. Maybe Palace, they love a pacey winger and with Eze out, he may work well there?

I want to see him play weekly for a team and develops him.

Very nice goal but we should expect a player at this level to finish that. The cross was perfect. What actually impressed me more was the little drag to the left he did with the chance before that. Skied the shot, but that touch created the space and illustrated some natural forward ability.

The movement made the goal easy, we've seen it enough this season that lack of movement into those areas with Rashford, Martial and Greenwood.

Not sure about that but he can't be far off. Either way he's very quick.

You can tell he's playing a bit reserved too, he usually loves to dribble at people a more.

Decent shout that, if Lampard goes to them like we expect he'll want to play attacking football. Zaha and Elanga on the wings could be a threat to anybody.

Encouraging performance. The beauty of this situation is that even if these lads don’t quite make it at Utd they must be worth £20m+ if they show potential in a few first team games.

From what little I've seen of both of them, I think Elanga is better suited than Amad to the RW role. He seems to be faster, have better movement around the box and carry more of a goal threat for the position of inside forward.

Amad seems to have very nice control and an eye for pass that suits a #10 role more. Less of a threat and penetration from the wings though.

He will be good Lingard's replacement in a couple of years. Needs two decent loans. Still long way to go now for the kid though. He's got good mentality to start with..

LW inside forward. Will have a easier time here on the right though.
Either that or potentially CF long term depending on how he progresses physically and technically. Don't see him on the right.

Definitely just you, I didn't notice him being specially fast. Maybe I didn't look close enough.
There have been multiple posters noting how rapid he is, you can check this thread.

I was dubious when I seen him down as a starter but he done really well.

Loved the goal - pointed exactly where he wanted it and a great header (couldnt have asked for a better cross mind).

Really good to see academy coming good again. His workrate was really good.

Our academy is really churning out some gems lately, great stuff.

I think a loan for next season would do wonders for him. His movement is really intelligent, probably just needs a consistent run of games. Look at how sharp Willock now looks now that he's playing regularly for Newcastle.

He's possibly the fastest player I've seen in our academy. He is beating players with ease. He hasn't shown his pace that much in the first team though, so I can understand why people who haven't seen him that much will doubt his pace.
