Not to mention how you resolve set-pieces. Unless we are in a prime position for a good shot or a dangerous cross, we tend to not go for goal, as we don't want to lose possession needlessly.I think the number of setpieces is one important factor. Another is how the opposing teams see this as opportunities. They have seen it is a weakness, they have also seen that it is very difficult to score open play goals on our team (both this and last season) and in their tactics, they go for it on setpieces.
Our opponents on the other hand will try to cross it into the box even if they get a freekick close to the midfield line. A very high percentage of chances that we concede come from long balls and set pieces.
