FFS BBC is having a mare , even missed the restart.
How are the pundits on other channels coping? Liam Brady still sounds quite upset on RTE.
I can only imagine how the players are feeling.
You're telling me about the mental state of people you don't know. That is moronic.
And how do you know that he didn't have a pulse when the team staff got to him? Stop with the guessing.
A German media outlet has reported this:
If that is indeed the case, then I can see why the players would want to continue.
I understand your point. An organization that puts the safety and well being of its people above all might have made the decision everybody go home or to the hospital and we'll figure things out later. However Uefa is not that organization. With the money, tv stuff, travel stuff etc they would want to finish the match asap especially once Eriksen was confirmed to be stable. At least the players and Eriksen ( however compromised/traumatized) made the final call.I'm not being a moron. Feck off for even saying that.
And the players could be thinking whatever they want, i'm not even going on about what they feel or what they want.
The simple fact is that they are in a state of shock. And as such, they should not be allowed by UEFA to play anything.
They should all have been taken to councling and ptsd protocol should have been performed.
This dumb feck has been acting disgusting for an hour on Hungarian TV and still hasn't realized how big of a twat he is. He also said "life goes on, why isn't the game going ahead" We have great pundits.
An event that has seen an extremely positive resolution. Eriksen himself told the players himself he would want them to continue.I'm telling you about the mental state of people involved in a very emotional and shocking event that accured in front of them.
A event that might have taken a life of their friend and work colleague.
Even if it thank God didn't, it doesn't undermine the state of shock they are still feeling.
You don't have to have a diploma from psychology or psychiatry to understand that oeople in a state of shock are in no way able to decide.
But keep on with the moronic stuff.
But the decision to postpone the game took time and the BBC have no input in that decision. The channel have to continue broadcast until that decision is made.
It’s not really a stupid question at all though is it? He may not have needed CPR until they performed it.Don't ask stupid questions like that.
Lessons to be learnt. Glad he's pulling through.
Fair enough, I can accept that. While I was and am troubled by his posts I don't think he broke any rules. His posts were callouses and heartless but not against the CAF's rules.
American sport and tv work differently than football. American sport is almost a 'filler' for tv advertising
It was piss poor that the Danish team staff didn't recognise he needed CPR and we had to wait for the medics to finally get over from the opposite side of the pitch to get things going.
Simply not good enough in my opinion. This is the highest level of the game.
Why is it a stupid question. You are the one that is just assuming that the team doctors were in the wrong. It's quite plausible his condition simply detiriorated soon after they got there and they called medics over to assist.Don't ask stupid questions like that.
Lessons to be learnt. Glad he's pulling through.
They might not have had content to fill in but they could have taken it to the studio. I have a feeling nobody knew what to say or were not in the right mindset to say anything while the horror of not knowing whether he's okay played out. What? I think you’re missing my point. The point is that technologically they could have very easily cut away from the broadcast feed to their own. That is just a fact. Which means they should have.

They had a team of pundits they could have easily cut to which they did eventually anyway. They probably have to arrange things in the background. You can't have a blank screen for x-number of minutes.

no one is complaining about that, is was dealing with the broadcast pictures. They could have cut that feed almost immediately - gone to the studio or just broadcast a blank pictures with commentators providing audio.
I was wondering what was going on and then I realized it's this poster whom I've been putting on ignore for a long time. He is just an attention-seeking, narcissistic and self-centered sociopath.Has that prick been suspended? He's being awfully quiet now
Obviously can't speak for everyone but I think we all just were desperate to see that he was okay. Why didn't you decided to change channel if you felt so strongly? I think some situations take time to judge. Anyway I want to move on. Ericsson is safe and the game is on and I want to move on too.
While I think they should have cut the feed, that puts the pundits in an awful situation where they have to compose themselves to talk about it.They might not have had content to fill in but they could have taken it to the studio. YesAm I evil for still wanting Finland to win?

Shit
