Should be said that Trippier and Phillips have started pretty well in unfamiliar roles in fairness. Phillips’ pressing and intelligence in those areas is handy.
I wouldn’t write them off just yet very solid team.

Getting slightly annoyed at the positions Kane is taking up. He seems to be spending lots of time on that left wing or deep, meaning that if we get the ball into that position, he's not then in the box to attack it. It just seems like overcomplicating something that is so simple. E.g...just put the striker in the box ready to pounce.
He has touched the ball once and done nothing.
What I'd give to have a player of 75% of Modric class in midfield at United...

Phillips could turn out to be a good move if Modric starts dropping back to dictate play. We will have a midfielder who's good at hounding him to stop it early.
Imagine if Kane played up front instead of everywhere else.
Of the attackers on the bench, none of them you can say "he's nailed on to get us a goal" if they fall behind. They look more like good to bring on to counter and stretch the game more. Doesn't help the form Rashford's been in as well. But yeah Croatia's defense isn't the greatest so they could prove useful later on.
