Construct something to block it. Put a roof on the stadium. Turn on the floodlights.

It's 2021 - they can do all sorts of shit. Surely they can do something to make half the pitch visible during a game.

It's always been an issue at Wembley.
Short of rebuilding it so it's oriented differently I'm not sure what could be done. I can't see anyone blocking out the sun and then turning on floodlights during the day so some TV viewers are less inconvenienced but the people in the stadium are starved of natural light. I don't even find the shadow that annoying.

Croatia playing out from the back has been horrendous so far. England pressing well.

Should be said that Trippier and Phillips have started pretty well in unfamiliar roles in fairness. Phillips’ pressing and intelligence in those areas is handy.
Trippier hasn't had much to do, he'll be tested when a side can actually put 5 passes together. Phillips looks good though, agreed.

The BBC are quite loyal. That means with have to listen to Jermaine Jenas’s shite for years and years and years to come.

Well played by Mount, if only we had a decent left footed LB who could have played the ball into the box.

I feel dirty for having the same thought as Jenas, not often he comes out with stuff that's sensible.

We look out of form, scared and shit.

And Brozović plays drunk. Or he put his house on an English win.

Take out Kramarić and put Petković on. We need a Target man.

Next game Trippier has to be at right back, Shaw or Chilwell at left back. Trippier has done okay so far because he's a quality player but play him where he's best.

Everything, and I mean everything, breaking down in attack as soon as it reaches Sterling.

Starved of natural light

As if there aren't incredible roofed stadiums all over the world.

You wouldn't even need to build a roof or anything else too complex. Just a shade that could be moved in relation to where the sun is. The issue is with the massive contrast between the two areas - shading the brightest area could still let daylight in, but allow the cameras to better focus on the entire pitch.

I rate Trippier a lot more then the nation seems too... But you can see we are lacking the ability to create width on the left without a left footer on that side.
