I was on a phone call for work and completely forgot what I was talking about for about 10 seconds. Mental goal.

No it wasn't. The ball was deep in the opposition half a second before Schick took the chance. Keepers don't stay home all game.
Yeah there was no issue until the Scotland centre back tried to take a shot from miles out and the deflection was perfect for the Czech’s

We won't ever win anything with McTominay starting in MF. Bang on average player, that should be having more games as an unused sub than starts.
Tbf McTom is the smallest problem for Scotland. The whole team is very mediocre.

You can be out of your goal, but he was basically on the centre circle. Crazy position to take
People want sweeper keepers these days so nothing wrong with where he was. The Czechs got a bit of fortune with how the ball bounced back from the edge of the area and Schick took his chance beautifully.

Scotland are at least ten times worse than I thought they’d be. Seems their silky technical players are on the bench too. We should eat them up on Friday.

Tbf to Mctominay hes used differently for Scotland more to protect back 3 where as united hes more box to box. Role for Scotland doesnt suit him.

Scotland have had decent opportunities.
Adams so clearly should've started.

Scotland are fecking shite. How did they qualify for this? Macedonia would give them a game.
They beat Serbia who are better 11 than Czechs in fairness.

I actually don't think they've been that bad, bit luckless infront of goal hitting bar and some fortunate deflections for the Czechs. Their CB and Rb options aren't good enough for national tournament though and Robertson of their big names only one to turn up today.

As someone growing up and loving watching likes of Nedved, Smicer, Rosicky, Jankoluvski etc Czech Republic aren't half a bang average national team these days.

I dunno mate, it’s one thing saying keepers can venture out of their box but this starting position is insane
