Doku has been by far the most interesting player to watch for Belgium today. He's run with the ball, gone past people, and found spaces that the other Belgium players just simply haven't. Too many of the other players are just bystanders. Static, no movement, no urgency to move the ball on in a forward direction. There are so many comparisons to United this season and this team.

He was literally near the touch line.
So he should have walked off on an injured muscle, maybe real damaged? He did the right thing, walking off makes injuries worse. Your post was nonsense. Last thing he wants to do was put any extra weight or pressure on it, thats why he was told lie down, to take the pressure off his leg and injury, not his team.

He was walking off himself until his team mate had a word. The injury is terrible, I’m just pointing out what I saw.

Yeah he's been brilliant in an otherwise weirdly stilted and flat Belgium attack.

Lukaku cannot hold the ball to save his life. Everything bounces off him.

Yeah his teammate likely said "Don't be an idiot and make things worse". What you presumed not you saw... common sense would tell you otherwise.

Doku's most impressive performance since he fought Anakin and Obi wan in Attack of the clones.
