Don't think so. UEFA fecked us all over already

I can't believe I returned all my tickets for the final and semi's back in Jan. That will haunt me forever
Jesus Christ please tell me you're joking. Do you know that people are so desperate now that ticket sellers are selling these tickets for like £4,000 to £10,000 per ticket now? Man...why?

It's easy to say now but if England lost to Denmark and you didn't want to go you'd have to sell the tickets at a loss.

I could have bought tickets for the final a couple of weeks ago and 18 months ago, but forking out £600+ on a game I may be a neutral in was too much. Partially because I went to the SF anyway but I can't justify spending that much on a final ticket now.

It is is the final of a major football tournament that comes once in every 4 years. There is no way you would sell it at a loss. Trust me I used to make my living from buying tickets and selling it at marked up price. There are many neutrals from other countries who would pay an arm and a leg to fly over to watch a major football tournament. Even I was overpaying tickets for the group stages tickets.

With the restrictions in travel, you would struggle. In normal times you'd probably be okay but certainly not a banker during covid. UEFA were struggling to sell tickets for Italy vs Spain only a few days ago which were half the price of tomorrows match.

I had to isolate because of covid, so wouldn't have been able to go anyway BUT was a great night watching it on my ones eating vindaloo. Luckily I'm free tomorrow so hopefully I get the chance to celebrate freely.
good stuff mate. Fingers crossed.

As an aside - I think this thread is by far the most sensible on the caf at the moment!

You're overlooking the massive impact of covid.

You could easily pick up Italy v Spain hours before the game in the semi! With a lot less capacity.

You could quite easily be out of pot if you're trying to get £500 for a ticket involving say Belgium v Denmark in a 60,000 capacity.

Goodness knows how much flights, tests, and isolation costs for a neutral.

My boss will be there. I just sent him a text to wish him good luck and he told me to look for him. I wonder if he realizes how lucky he is ?

Nope.
Just another corporate suit creaming off another mate's club back hander.

Yeah they're 945 euros for me, CAT1 though. They would sell on a secondary market for around 3.5k so your mate is being nice.

Man up the world is cruel and selfish. I've always desired of being a billionaire and I realized the only way to achieve my goal after working with the ultra wealthy is they know how to exploit people.
I’m cringing for you buddy, I wish you well in your future endeavours though.

You're cringing not for me but for yourself because you think I'm talking about such an unreal goal and in the Western culture, it is such a big taboo to talk openly about money because it is perceived as unclassy and sensitive but let's get real, from the day we are born till the day we die, it's all about money. Thanks for your well wishes appreciate it. I know it is a matter of time and I will get there.

Are UEFA fecking stupid or something? Why can't they just release all tickets in one go instead of this bullshit?

My only guess is that if people are legitimately doing covid tests and being honest about the results they maybe have some returns? But otherwise not sure why they're drip feeding. And here I am back in the portal queue again...

Were you serving them hors d'oeuvres?
I hack for them. Back to the topic, did anyone manage to get the tickets to the final?
Edit: Apparantely selling tickets are not allowed on here so I've edited my post.

Got in but sold out again. This has been even more stupid than trying to get a PS5. Edit: Kept refreshing and Cat 1s came up but now getting an error. Might get lucky if you keep trying, I think returns are popping up now and again presumably due to Covid tests.

I doubt anybody's taking you up on that after the shite you've been spouting.

No problem. I have no problem selling the tickets, people are overpaying. Just offering priority here because the Caf is like my second home. Whatever I said was real fact of life, not my fault that people here are so politically correct.

What? These people are not my friends, they are just strangers and I have no personal connection to them. Why would I sell to them for face value? If it's my mate, sure, I'll sell for face value or even less.

It's politically correct to have values, dignity and think there's more to life than money? Watch out for Karma mate.

Anyway, back to desperately refreshing the ticket portal.

Imagine not only being a scalper, but being unashamed enough to tell other people you were a scalper. Almost as if you were proud of it.

I'd rather tell people I was a Spurs fan than a scalper.

Likewise, kept refreshing and it occasionally changed so you could select to buy a ticket but wouldn’t let you get as far as actually doing so, then got timed out.
I‘m probably of the thought that rather than COVID based returns it’s a bored UEFA IT guy just messing about getting some kick from knowing he’s toying with people.

Saw a post on twitter that suggested these tickets popping up are just for UEFA guests with access codes , apparently he has got that message from customer support but don't know how true that actually is
