Game over but great knock from Livingstone. Surely hell be become a mainstay in T20 and possibly the 50 over side for the next few years.
He drops out permanently do you think?Game over but great knock from Livingstone. Surely hell be become a mainstay in T20 and possibly the 50 over side for the next few years.
You sort of be thinking had Willey came in before Gregory it could have been won by England. Great wee cameoImprobable, but not impossible…
Yeah Gregory & even Morgan’s knocks stick out a little with the weak SR on this pitch. Too much in the end for England in the last 4 overs. You sort of be thinking had Willey came in before Gregory it could have been won by England. Great wee cameo
Depends, if his bowling is considered reliable enough to be the 2nd spinner/6th bowling option then it would give England amazing depth. Moeen has been in and out of the side and is getting on a bit so would be the obvious choice, but then Livingstone's bowling is not on the same level. It'd be harder for him to get a place as a specialist batsmen, as the sides are pretty nailed on (Roy, Bairstow, Buttler, Morgan in both, plus Root in 50 over, Malan in 20 over, then Stokes plus 5 bowling options). He drops out permanently do you think?
Such and abundance of batting options.
I think Malan is the man under pressure at the minute.Interesting that Morgan’s “rested” himself. His recent form in T20 isn’t the best & if England (Livingstone) goes off again, will be some pressure on Morgan ahead of the WC.
Should be another high scoring game.
I expect Stokes to come back in for him. Roy, Buttler & Bairstow as top 3. Ali looks in good form today but even if he didn’t, I think his spin option keeps him in the 11 for WC. Morgan will very likely play as captain, but it will be a good dilemma for England if Livingstone scores big again.I think Malan is the man under pressure at the minute.
Different Azam. Moin Khan's son. He's the new Bermudan whale. Is Babar Azam fat now?
I was genuinely confused. I only saw the back of him (after Moeen Ali cut the ball past him) and thought how the feck did that happen?!Different Azam. Moin Khan's son. He's the new Bermudan whale.
Tbf it's his call. Livingstone shouldn't be ball watching. Why is Curran calling for a run there
It was an easy single. Why is Curran calling for a run there
What on earth was he doing? His top score is 14 and he's just got rid of the key batsman. Why is Curran calling for a run there
If Livingston was watching. Curran should have just backed off and ran himself out when he seen Livingston just didn't have a clue what was happening. It was an easy single.
Yeah, this. Livingstone was watching the ball but Curran wasn't watching his partner. And now he's out.If Livingston was watching. Curran should have just backed off and ran himself out when he seen Livingston just didn't have a clue what was happening.
He can't not have seen Livingston just looking for the ball in the air.
Yep, both are at fault. As soon as Curran shouts run Livingstone has to take off but when he doesn't, Curran has to stop and go back and save livingstoneYeah, this. Livingstone was watching the ball but Curran wasn't watching his partner. And now he's out.
2 off 19 now in his last 4 matchesMalan 1 off 6 balls in a game like that...
That's a crazy stat.2 off 19 now in his last 4 matches
Not sure he should try that again.Rashid
