Can't stand the fat cnut. Always has to sing and dance (badly) in everything that he does.

He was taking up 3 seats at Wembley last night apparently. Wanker.

Saw the picture with his family. errm not exactly a holywood cast are they.
I haven't seen the picture but if this is about the looks of his family (wife/kids) that's not really a fair thing to criticize.

It's his parents and sisters. If anything I feel sorry for them. They're probably sat at home in their cramped council flats most nights getting bombarded by pictures sent by this cnut on his mates yacht. Wanker.

I still feel like I'm missing out on a Caf 'in' joke whenever I come into this thread.

I can't say I've seen much with Corden recently but he was great in Gavin and Stacey. I thought his comedy sketches were funny too back in the day with England and Beckham etc. Can't say I know enough about his personal life to know if he's actually a cnut though.
Rob Brydon was the only person who made it bearable.

Twitter is saying someone roasted him on Love Island. No idea who it was or what they said but whoever it was deserves a knighthood.

I open this thread with high hopes and every time I'm deeply disappointed.

Honestly, would someone care to explain where this universal hate stems from for the uninitiated?

I'm not defending the guy and find him quite annoying on screen but he seems to grate people in a pretty extreme way, and the only real answer to the question "why is he a cnut?" I've seen so far seems to be "because he's a cnut".

He treats people like absolute scum. He's a cnut.

I can understand why people find him irritating, but not sure where the hatred comes from

I quite enjoy carpool karaoke and my wife watched league of their own and it’s funny at times

Because he is a cnut, a thundercnut to be specific.

He's on Oxford St today, near a place called The Wigmore near Oxford Circus (I have testimony from a work colleague). So if anyone wants to go find him & call him a cnut, you have an opportunity, if you happen to be in the area.

Also, someone else in the office admits to liking him.

Nice place. Kind of reminds me of a budget Palace Hotel (or whatever it's called now) bar area.

By the way - James Corden is a fat wanker, pass it on.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand James Cordon. His humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Cordon's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Cordon truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Cordon's existential character "Smithy" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as James Cordon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Gavin and Stacey tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

I never watched Gavin and Stacy because, obviously, it has Welsh people in it and ewwwww feck that. But has it stood the test of time like Mrs Brown Boys or is it something that was only slightly funny when it was watched at the time like Fawlty Towers or Father Ted?

Ive not watched it either but from listening to people that have watched it it gives me very similar vibes to Only Fools and Horses the way people love the characters and the show. I think people will still have a lot of love for it 20 years from now too. As someone who loves OFAH and hates Corden that isn’t easy to admit either. I should give it a watch tbf.

Maybe I've not been watching the right clips then because all I've ever seen is ones where Corden shouts at people and others where it's just "haha fat man likes food."

Rob Brydons character seems pretty funny from what I’ve seen, the rest of the cast are actually quite likeable - forgetting the fact that literally most of Belmarsh prison inmates would seem really likeable standing next to Corden.

Right, might give it a go then. You should do the same and hopefully the disgusting presence of that cnut Corden will only have half the sickening effect it's his warlock like evilness has to be spread between two souls.

U wot pal
Oh come on, as if the Mrs Brown's Boys bit didn't give it away...

Ted is the gold standard for me

It’s late ok

Gavin and Stacey is decent tbf. Even Corden is ok in it because the humour is self deprecating. There’s none of the lad banter or arrogance of league of their own/US chat show twat he is now.

I like it when people take the bait on these but Mrs Brown's Boys was maybe pushing it. Possibly the most unfunny show I've ever had the misfortune to watch two episodes of... I watched one and thought "surely it can't be THAT bad next week?!" (Spoiler, it was).

The other two have been repeated recently and my teenage kids love Fawlty Towers like me and my Dad... truly a classic.

Cordens a knob though.
