Yeah Kounde was conservatively one of the 3 best CBs in La Liga last season and he turns 23 in November - you'd be hard pressed to find a better long-term replacement for Azpilicueta. The biggest thing though is that our quality on the ball has gone up massively, which is key in Tuchel's 3ATB system - Guehi is a great passer but mostly from deeper positions and with Christensen close to signing a new deal as the middle CB the path was muddier.
