Gotta wait for that moment of brilliance from somebody because we look clueless as always.

Zero control over the game. Midfield getting overrun every single time, no movement or nothing.

Positives : Varane and Maguire looking fantastic together. Defense looks really good.

Bad first half. Non exsistent midfield and No movement. Shocking display by few players. Sancho, Fred and Pogba. Fernandes needs to calm down.

Wolves are starting to Lose energy. From 60 min We will be in controll. Until then We need to move better with and without ball.

Would like to see Cavani and Matic on for Sancho and Fred or Pogba.

2 man midfield is not going to work if they are Fred and Pogba.. Bruno can't play the free role .. this is just atrocious game plan by Ole

We have no protection in cm coupled with a lack of creativity in there as well and we look an avarage side. Our forwards are feeding off scraps and are being marked out the game

Thank god Traore is the most overrated player in the league
Traore is the football equivalent of a tank class in video games. He carries the team and does everything but cause any damage.

The problem is we are getting overrun in midfield because we consistently allow Bruno not to play there and do what he wants. Some games we have to tell him to play midfield
We need another body in there for sure. I'd sacrifice James, Pogba is still wanting to play the free role and Fred has been completely exposed.

For the first 25 minutes United structure of the team was all over the place and Fred was hopeless. A great goal line clearance by Wan-Bissaka.

Thankfully have settle down since, Bruno need to get back to playing football than the nonsense he's at.

Probably need to take off James or Sancho for DVB or Matic at HT
    Matic :lol::lol::lol:
Unbelievable, are you even watching the game? Fred who's only good quality are his legs and his workrate is getting run all over and you want no legs Matic to come into this game? :wenger: the stuff I read on here is mind boggling.

Feels like when you tell Pogba he will play in a midfield two he just switches off and misplaces so many passes or whatever. I'm not saying he is our worst player, you just notice when he plays bad because he can be so good. Unfortunate that McTominay can't come in for one of Sancho or James and get Pogba further forward.

Anyways, 2nd half Utd is a different beast. 5-1 to United ez!

As bad as he is, Matic in midfield is still an extra midfielder. At the moment we have nobody. Fred is chasing round pressing and Pogba could be anywhere. We need somebody to actually stay and cover.

Sub James, put Sancho right, Pogba left and Matic in the middle with Fred.

We have a big problem in the midfield, can't keep the ball, can't defend, can't move the ball. At this rate I'd get Matic in for James, move Sancho to the right and get Pogba back to LW. Before it's too late.

There is a fecking massive gaping hole in the middle of our midfield.
Fred has been poor but pogba has been beyond awful.
We are completely disjointed and very lucky not to be one or two down
Agree. Fred is poor but what's Pogs excuse who's ceiling is suppose to be higher....

Not sure what it’s going to take for Ole to realise that Pogba can’t play in a midfield two. Even if we had prime Makalele next to him we’d still struggle- Fred has no chance

Sancho looks really bad so far, he seems can’t quite cope with physical and pace of PL…
Really bad is exaggeration tbf. Has to get used to the pace of the PL and maybe he needs a shift to the right.

The problem was in that half Wolves were all over us like a cheap suit

    It’s obvious to me as a fan that a Fred/Pogba midfield 2 wouldn’t work.

It’s obvious that Dan James shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11

So why do we start every game with these stupid fecking line ups.

Pogba never works in a midfield 2, it's been done a million times and it doesn't work. It's like playing David Silva there, Pogba is an attacker, just because he's big doesn't make him defensively any good.

How Ole still hasn't figured it out is beyond me.

Sky really vex me. Fred is by far the worst link in the midfield, giving the ball away, getting outmuscled and pressing out too often when he should hold... but it's Pogba that's been awful? No, it just creates more headlines to blame Pogba. And this constant 'he plays so much better for France'. Why do they not mention at France he's had Rabiot/ Kante to cover for his defensive issues and Matuidi/Kante at the World Cup. Then there's the fools that soak it up! Use your own eyes.

I get frustrated watching our players on the ball have zero options to pass the ball to. That half was not on players but the coaching staff.

Is there any team in Europe other than us that can look like CL contenders one week and relegation fodder the next?
We only look good when team's give us space. We have fecking ridiculously talented players, it's a given our players will look great with space. It's when we are being pressed and there is no space when the intricate parts of the games are required, which is where we fall extremely short

I truly don’t think Fred has been anywhere near as bad as people think. He’s been like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dam. He’s being overrun because he’s basically playing in midfield alone. Bruno has been up front and Pogba has been terrible. Pogba just isn’t a centre midfielder in a two. He’s lost it in dangerous positions so many times and just doesn’t win it back.

Nonsense. All our players have looked pretty bad. Only Varane has looked decent

Fred has been calamitous, Pogba has been poor, Bruno gives the ball away cheaply, James is a joke.

We've been poor. This isn't down to the mythical physicality or speed of the premier league

They won’t keep this pace up in the second half, and we’ll fecking have them when they slow down

Dreadful first half from the team, we are being out fought everywhere on the pitch, every time there is a turnover of possession there is too much space for Wolves to run into, we are very lucky not to be a couple of goals down. The referee isn’t helping either mind. Only players that are playing well are Maguire, Varane and De Gea, Greenwood is doing okay from the little service he gets.

We tend to improve in the 2nd halves but we need to be more solid.

Pogba looks like he’s throwing a tantrum. He’s visibly not trying hard enough. Never plays like this for France at CM. So so poor
He’s not a CM and Ole seemed to realise that until today! Don’t say he does for france because they basically put him in a 3.
