Also this improving youth thing we have done for years with Martial and Rashford and it didn’t pay off. No point in putting the faith in youth if they aren’t good enough, also kindly forgetting about Greenwood, Mctominay, AWB and buying Sancho

Investing in Rashford didn't pay off?

 Improving Dan James
Yes Bielsa will prove how much more superior Dan James actually is. He’ll play more. He’ll play on the left. He’ll be scoring goals.

However, none of that is because of the coaching. It will be because James is a talented boy. But not as talented as… Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Elanga(?)… all younger or around his age. All of them will be better than James.

We have sold future of the club by opting for Ronaldo instead of James.

Yes that is what the Tweet in your post I was replying to said, we can make this a circle if you like?

But we won't be able to add more shit points if its a circle. It would be a closed loop.

It's amazing isn't it, anytime we sell a young player who isn't up to the mark, we are giving up on youth and shitting on our history. If we don't sell them then our manager is clueless who can't get rid of deadwood.

Also good time for journalists to come up with clickbait points/articles.

It has taken me a while, but I have finally seen the light that none of these hacks really hate United. It's all about rolling in the clickbait money. Nothing else can explain the manner they contradict themselves in successive articles or the way they come up with inane arguments such as "a still-improving Dan James."

Dan James is a mid to lower-half of the table player at best, and it is telling that only Leeds were in for him. There are not many teams who play a style where headless running can be employed effectively.

12 years of an improving dan James!? No thanks, after 2 seasons we have all seen enough of Dan James to see he simply isn't good enough for our level. I'm looking forward to 12 years of sancho, Greenwood and rashford though.

Thats some thought process by Ally Rudd to think we signed Ronaldo as a replacement for Daniel James. How do these people actually get paid to write about football, with basically no actual knowledge. Stealing a living.

Of course, had Pep signed Ronaldo it would have been a masterstroke from the well-known bargain-hunting team-building manager...

He’s just making himself look foolish now.

How are we miles behind a team (Chelsea) which we have finished above two seasons in a row?

How is Juventus not winning the Champions League entirely Ronaldo’s fault?

He reiterates his claim about Ronaldo being the worst signing in history (for Juventus) and the fact that we are worse off for having signed him.

Anyway it’s all moot since it’s been proven he was praising Ronaldo weeks ago and has suddenly changed his tune since he signed for us.

Oh and his claim about him hurting Greenwood’s development is absolute horse shit.

Also quickly mentions they never won the league with him, nobody challenges him.
Journalists need to be held accountable by others in such podcasts/shows etc.
What a fecking tool to suggest it’s the worst transfer ever as well.

One of the following is true:

  • Wilson hates United and will always find an anti-United angle
  • Wilson hates our fans and just wants to wind us up
  • Wilson doesn't care one way or another and is just looking to increase his profile with hate clicks like a shock jock
Honestly couldn't tell you which is the truth. However, he's becoming weird with his inability to see anything positive about United. He's got some weird thing with Solskjaer. Again, I dunno if its Ole he hates or just United. But its like he finds it hard to say United have done anything right.

Wasn’t this guy talking Ronaldo up when it looked like he was going City?
I dunno but he was definitely laying it on thick for Ronaldo during the Euros. So it must be the ABU goggles blinding him.

Even of these people have to generate clicks, I still expect some self respect.
Piece was written by a Liverpool fan. You can't expect her to overlook any chance to have a dig, even when it makes no sense.

He sounds really annoyed there. Also how has Ronaldo 'made them into a team not good enough to beat teams who aren't good enough to win the league in France'??? He wasn't the feckin Juventus manager.

And what's this theme park shit?

He recently wrote an article saying Ole had no more excuses for not challenging for the title because of how good the squad is. Then we sign Ronaldo and apparently we're miles behind.

Shit media angles aside, I think there is actually a reasonable point involved here.

The question is, did we sell Daniel James because we'd given up on him developing into the sort of player we'd like to have around? I'm not so sure it's possible to answer "yes" to that question. One thing is that a lot of people around here has concluded he's not going to be that player, the point is if OGS and the club has the same view. His two starts in our first three games certainly doesn't seem to indicate so. Also there was not, as far as I can recall, any news that he was being shopped around prior to the Ronaldo signing.

This seems to point in the direction of two reasons behind the sale - 1, he didn't fit into immediate plans with Ronaldo in the team, 2, we needed to recoup a bit of money after signing Ronaldo. In both cases, that in effect amounts to selling off a viable prospect because we prioritised the signing and integration of an ageing Ronaldo. Which may well have been the right choice, but the point may well still stand I think.

Kane is amazing in finals to be fair, I can see why "Gabby" thinks that. Kane is the biggest of big game players. Never goes missing. Mr reliable. Just look at what he's won.

Its quite funny how no one is better than Kane but CR7's best season eclipses Kanes ones.

Obviously Gabby will think that because he played similar level to Kane, playing Birmingham was his his cup final and he sees Kane deliver against Arsenal.

If he watched real competitions like the CL, Euros, World Cup he will know who turns up. Ronaldo in CL knockouts is a different beast.

There is no evidence that Kane can take a team to a final, Ronaldo on the other hand 3 CL in a row.

Pretty sure Kane’s been missing in every final he’s been in. I definitely won’t say Ronaldo‘s record in finals is perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than Kane’s.

Kane is going the way of Henry in that he’s great everywhere but a final.

I’m counting 5 finals that Ronaldo has scored in from the top of my head?

Yeah I'd obviously also rather have the guy who has never won a cup in his career over the guy who's won 12 major cup finals scoring in many of them.

Talksport shouldn't be taken seriously.

In his first spell alone for us, he scored in the League Cup final, FA Cup final and Champions League final. Not sure many other players can say that.

I’m noticing it more and more that United fans are the only ones who actually know what United’s strengths and weaknesses are. A lot of the ABU media have been saying how we just need someone to put the ball into the net, then we sign the greatest goal scorer ever. Now they’ve seen United fans wanting a midfielder so all of a sudden we’re being written off because we didn’t get a midfielder. It really is anyone but United for them.

However, if they’d have written off our chances every year for the past 8 they’d have been right every time. Hopefully we finally prove them wrong.
