Don't Raiola and Pep have beef?Yeah City
Don't Raiola and Pep have beef?Yeah City
Most likely get Mbappe, Pogba on a Free next summer, and sell on some players and add Haaland and a couple of others also.Modric, Kroos, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Benzema - the only spine of the team - are on their way out. They look like a mid table team without those 5 in the team.
Modric and Kroos as a pivot two have been world class for 4 years and elevate the team to a whole new level of stability and creativity. Without Ronaldo they have been hanging on by a thread because of the 5 mentioned.
What’s in the pipeline for them? They have no star players, no up and coming spine to the team.
With a financially barren football world, I can’t see Real going on a Galactico steroid injection any time soon.
What happens next?
How much are they paying 29 years old David Alaba?Telling ye they won’t sign Pogba on 4/500k a week. They’ll go for younger players and let the old guys contracts run down and instead of letting that play out and competing with them for the younger lads us and PSG will probably take their ageing stars on short but massive deals.
Not exactly free but cheaper than transfer fee ofcourse. Most likely get Mbappe, Pogba on a Free next summer, and sell on some players and add Haaland and a couple of others also.

Think they will get a few top earners off the list next summer so they can afford to pay Mbappe, Pogba, etc. No big transfer fee will also help.We are supposedly paying Varane 340 per week plus a 50 ish million fee.
They are supposedly playing Alaba 380 a week and no fee.
As I said I really don’t think they will go after Pogba for 500k a week unless they make a crazy sale but even then I think if they had wanted him at any stage over the last 5 years he’d have gone like a shot. The offer never came. It’ll most likely be between us and PSG for his next contract. Camavinga on the cheap was probably pretty good business for them too. Only time will tell.
Yeah, but I don't expect that to be an obstacle. Both men would swallow their pride if they thought it was the best option, like Pep did with Touré.Don't Raiola and Pep have beef?
We’ve no chance until Ronaldo decides he’s done with us.Something tells me Haaland is headed to the prem, chances are here.
Mbappé + Haaland would be a VERY bad idea, I'm pretty sure it could be a deal breaker for Mbappé if Real goes after both. None of them will play the Benzema role, they both have big egos, doing that would be a big mistake from Real.Pogba, Mbappe and Haaland for a combined €65m.
Think Real have always had players with big ego's and it didn't stop them from bringing in others every year.Mbappé + Haaland would be a VERY bad idea, I'm pretty sure it could be a deal breaker for Mbappé if Real goes after both. Mbappe wants to carry on playing off the left and haaland down the middle so there is no problem postionally. I think haaland, mbappe and pogba will all be at Madrid next summer. Benzema is getting old, at Madrid everyone is expendable.Mbappé + Haaland would be a VERY bad idea, I'm pretty sure it could be a deal breaker for Mbappé if Real goes after both. Neh surely not? If anything Madrid turning around and saying we’re bringing in Haaland too is more appealing. They’d become some side if they got those two.Mbappé + Haaland would be a VERY bad idea, I'm pretty sure it could be a deal breaker for Mbappé if Real goes after both. No he doesn't, he wants to play as a striker. We've known that for years at PSG, which is a problem because he's not that great a striker at the moment since he doesn't have the full set of skills unless we're playing counter attacks/transition.Mbappe wants to carry on playing off the left and haaland down the middle so there is no problem postionally. Read his recent interviews, he has said he wants to continue off the left so he can utilise his pace.No he doesn't, he wants to play as a striker. So the rebuild is next season then.If Ancelotti does a good job, we have enough to win the league plus a deep CL run with a good draw(have to dodge the runner-up of City-PSG group in R16). If not, it will be another poor season and Florentino will throw the kitchen sink at Mbappé and Haaland next summer
Why are you glad about that? PSG rejection means that they are most likely going to get Haaland next year as well in addition to Mbappe and quite likely Pogba. So the rebuild is next season then.
200m for Mbappe is crazy money, glad PSG refused.
Seriously? Didn't ye pretty much buy Girona for Pep's brother to get Pep to sign?Yeah, but I don't expect that to be an obstacle. Both men would swallow their pride if they thought it was the best option, like Pep did with Touré.
I think the obstacle is that Raiola reportedly wants huge wages, agent fees, sign-on bonuses, potentially even wants Haaland's dad to get a cut. City's board don't really do stuff like that, but Real Madrid don't seem to have much of a problem with it. I wouldn't expect City to get Haaland either way.
I don't remember reading such thing (i might have missed it, if so it would be nice to give me a source).Read his recent interviews, he has said he wants to continue off the left so he can utilise his pace.
I don't think that's the way Mbappé thinks. He wants to be the tip of the spear (and also thinks a little too much he can build plays, which he cannot unless he has space). In 2019 when he was only 20, he came out publicly at an award ceremony to say that it might be time for him to seek more responsabilities in another club if PSG doesn't want to give that to him, and that's with Neymar being very selfless beside him and giving him a lot of great assists.Neh surely not? If anything Madrid turning around and saying we’re bringing in Haaland too is more appealing. They’d become some side if they got those two.
They also signed Militao.I thought they started their rebuild a couple of seasons ago when they have since signed Jovic, Militao, Vinicius, Courtois, Odriozola, Hazard, Militao, Mendy, Rodrigo, Reinier, Ceballos, Hernandez.
All these combined have cost them over €500m in the last 4 years.
I think we have seen 60% of what Valverde can offer, although I admit that Vini, Fede and Asensio are my short list of proteges.IF, big IF, Camavinga and Valverde develop as we hope this season, i think we might consider selling Casemiro to PSG next summer, if a massive money offer comes
Pogba we should only go for if the intention is to play him as an attacking midfielder. We're still gonna need to replace Kroos, hopefully not for another 2 seasons
Don't think we can have Mbappé, Haaland and Vinicius. If we get both the first two, Vini should be sold
Covid is making sure the market is going back to what we were used to. 200 mill transfers is just going to make things crazy again. Why are you glad about that? PSG rejection means that they are most likely going to get Haaland next year as well in addition to Mbappe and quite likely Pogba.
I don't think you guys (i'm quoting you but i'm actually refering to several comments seen here, you mentionned a big if) realise where Camavinga was at before being transfered to Real. He has a lot of talent but he was barely starting for Rennes last season and wasn't good, I highly doubt he'll claim a starting spot this season. This player still doesn't know where he's supposed to play and will need a LOT of guidance from Ancelotti.IF, big IF, Camavinga and Valverde develop as we hope this season, i think we might consider selling Casemiro to PSG next summer, if a massive money offer comes
I'm done with asensio. He's had what, 3 full seasons now to prove himself and failed everytime. It's clear at this point he can't be more than a sub for usI think we have seen 60% of what Valverde can offer, although I admit that Vini, Fede and Asensio are my short list of proteges.
I think that when Modric is not there, when he has the weight, we will be able to see if he is a "pajarito" or he can become an eagle.
For me, selling Vini would be a bit like selling the soul. He exudes Madridismo, seems like a great guy and brings a lot of fun on the field (and more often for his good game and not for blunders) .
Either Hazard changes a lot or his fight with Vini is totally lost.
This year the one who must finally find his place and exploit is Rodrygo
28 starts, 2 games injured, 1 game suspended and the other 7 starting on the bench. Barely?I don't think you guys (i'm quoting you but i'm actually refering to several comments seen here, you mentionned a big if) realise where Camavinga was at before being transfered to Real. I said barely because he was the worst of their starting midfielder last season and it wouldn't have taken a lot of serious competition to put him on the bench. To sum it up, he was pretty poor in a team that ended 6th in Ligue 1. So unless being transfered to Real performs some kind of magic trick and it puts him on the right track at lightening speed (who knows, his poor performances might have been caused by the fact that he wanted to be transfered last season, or he might also collapse because of the pressure, we know these things are unpredictable), I don't see how he could claim a starting spot with 2 seasons.28 starts, 2 games injured, 1 game suspended and the other 7 starting on the bench. Barely?
I do agree though, he's one for the medium/long term rather than making an immediate impact.
I agree, unfortunately. I'd say City are more likely to sign someone like Inaki Williams or Isak. Lautaro is unfortunately impossible now, Correa from Atleti could have been another decent option. The only superstar signing I can imagine is Lewandowski next summer if he decides to leave Bayern. But right now I'd expect one of Mbappe / Haaland to play for Real and the other for PSG.Yeah, but I don't expect that to be an obstacle. Both men would swallow their pride if they thought it was the best option, like Pep did with Touré.

Ehmm.. Makes sense for them to go for Salah now that I think about itVinicius Mbappe ?
Pogba Casemiro Camavinga
Mendy Alaba Militao Carvajal
Courtois
Oh, poor souls. What are they gonna do!?
Mbappe + Pogba on a free. Buy a right winger, add some sort of fullback squad player.
Apart from Haaland's data wanting a part of fee, every other thing is common in every transfer.Yeah, but I don't expect that to be an obstacle. Both men would swallow their pride if they thought it was the best option, like Pep did with Touré.
