Do they have anyone in mind?
tier 1 sources are saying Xavi is in talks with Laporta however xavi wants to replace the entire medical staff as well and it’s making things complicated.

I say give Xavi what he wants as very few other coaches worth their salt (not even sure how good xavi will be) will come here right now

Leicester might or might not finish in the top 6, but one thing is guaranteed, there's absolutely no evidence that we should expect them to. Their squad isn't top 6. Their style of play isn't top 6. So where's the expectation coming from? Think about that before you come to Redcafe next time.
Being told to think by the person who failed basic reading comprehension by completely misunderstanding what I wrote and failing to recognize it was directed at a completely different poster. Topgun indeed, I salute you.

Need to find a replacement first. The board wants him out but want to line up someone else to take over before announcing it
They need to organize a go fund me to raise the 12M he is due the second he is sacked and then figure out how to raise funds to hire someone to replace him. They literally cannot afford to sack him which is truly bizarre.

I very much assume your English is way better than his Dutch. It was a stupid cheap shot on you.
Jesus man, it was a light hearted joke that the ‘recipient’ even enjoyed and responded with a pun of his own. I’m sure he’s confident enough in his excellent English ability to laugh at something silly like this. Only you are offended

That doesn't sound suspicious at all

Sacking a manager after 6 games is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not a great fan of Koeman's management but come on, the terrible stewardship of Barcelona continues.

Not ridiculous at all. He’s been here for over a year. This should have been done much sooner.

Sacking the manager won't change much. They just don't have the personnel to cope.

There is no "top 6" anymore. Spurs and arsenal are light years away from the top four, have been for a while and look set to remain so.

Leicester is the 5th best team in England these days.

Also, arsenal fans, get a grip. It was silly when Wenger talked about the top four trophy and here you are battling for the 'top 6' trophy, on account of what? Having finished top four a lot five years ago? Ffs.

Xavi is the perfect manager. He will come in with less pressure to win instantly, this season is almost a write off so he can put his stamp on the team while working under less pressure and work with Pedri and Frenkie especially to make that midfield unplayable against. He has Al Saad playing his brand of football, less direct than they've been but they play some gorgeous football and Carzola has been ridiculous as expected. Xavi has to get the job. He would bring so much back into the club and lift this doom and bring more optimism for the future.

Xavi also wants complete control of not only the first team but the reserves and la masia as well. He wants top to bottom changes at the club. That wont be cheap.

Xavi will probably be the manager after next. Get someone in (experienced) to make the best of a bad situation and once the club gets into of its debts then switch to Xavi.

If Arteta got sacked I could see him going there. Doubt any premier league team will take him on whilst he’s in his managerial infancy. He also has Barca DNA.

Xavi won't have the means to be successful. And given the turnover cycles of managers there, especially unsuccessful ones, it'd be a waste for him to blow his shot at the hot seat at their very nadir.

Barcelona are in an odd situation where they need to find a manager better than koeman who will nonetheless be no more than a treading water manager.

Is Koeman high? He's playing Frenkie RW and Gavi LW? What?
The idea could be to play really narrow and through the middle. I doubt they will really play like wingers today.

At least it is an idea in line with typical Barca focused on playing passes instead of endless amounts of crosses.

Of course I could be wrong and we'll see this backfire massively.

Only a year. He needs another 3 years and 450 million to build his squad:p.

Hope Barcelona get their act together. Used to enjoy watching some of their matches too (while refusing to give Suarez any credit whatsoever).
I don't, I hope they continue to make arses of themselves and fade into obscurity. Arrogant "more than a club" knobbers.
