FFS they cant keep him when most of the players are not playing for him. We will only lose more games before the inevitable. Im convinced we are the worst runned club ever in any sport. A laughing stock, a circus..
Our fans need to become more vocal. The protests need to start again, and if i hear Oles at the wheel again, we only sing for the Glazers, not the club.
I do feel somewhat for the board in this situation, although much of where we've ended up - and how we've got there over the past decade - can and should be levied at them.
If we were to sack Ole now, it's very hard for the next appointment to be one that fits in with any long-term plan the club has. You're basically picking from who is the best available option rather than who is best full-stop.
There have always been justifiable questions around Ole's managerial credentials and ability to manage us, but I think few - if any - would have thought our season was going to nose-dive quite this badly. I wasn't convinced we'd win anything this season, but that we'd certainly get top 4, and that we could part (relatively) amicably with Ole well in the knowledge he'd improved us no-end and that the manager stepping in wasn't a last-minute find.
But we are staring at a situation which is getting as close to untenable as it's possible to get, especially if reports around squad discontent are to be believed.
If he does go, it will be Conte. And if that does happen, I fail to see a situation where we're once more scrambling for a replacement in 2/3 seasons time.
