Nope.

In all honestly I'd probably near give up on football. I'm pretty much there considering how it's become an arena for despots and oil states, but the Glazers continuing to run the club to the ground would just speed up my transition to complete apathy.

If they try to see out the season with Ole and bring in Rodgers I'd just stop watching football tbh.

Same

Surprised you're not willing to follow lower leagues or Eredevise who so far stayed out of the usual bullshit

My time and attention’s currently split between Utd and Madrid - I’d probably just pay more attention to Madrid - I’m too loyal to Utd to switch to City or Liverpool and don’t see the point in supporting any of the other clubs you guys have over there

Yes, sometimes I support Liverpool on weekends because they are so entertaining. Have a few half and half scarfs of United/pool. For the moment I'll continue supporting both though. If we don't sack ole and sign haaland, I'll reassess.

I'll probably keep an eye out on some teams but I'd stop short of being a supporter or bonafide follower of the club. My love for the club has spanned decades, and I don't see the point of getting behind another club for the sake of it tbh.

No but if the club is continued to run this way I'll certainly lose some of my interest in football and certainly won't buy anything connected to the club.

I'm not in a situation where I supported United because of where I'm from or it was supported by my family. I could barely tell you where Europe was on a map in 1999 when Ole scored his goal. I picked United just sort of randomly after watching football for a year or so. I like to think I'll keep supporting them regardless of success but I wish they'd at least make it easier by running the club and hiring the right people even if we aren't winning trophies.

Yes, Wrexham. Just so that I can say "Wrexham? We damn near killed um!"

On a more serious note, I couldnt in a million years be anything but red. That feeling just isnt there with anyone else. You can enjoy the football of other teams, but it never brings that same emotion that your own team does. Call it gatekeeping if you want, but if you dont feel that emotion when your watching your team play, and you can easily walk away. Youre just a glory hunter, and you wont be missed.

Growing up I had to come to the realization that people change, but a lot of the times we are still perceiving them as if they were 10-15 years ago. Sometimes accepting reality can be a hard thing.

It's the same thing with United. I grew up watching Sir Alex not just winning, but winning with tradition, the Busby Babes, 1958, Fergie's Fledgeling, Nobody is bigger than the club etc etc We would make fun of the like of Chelsea for being and oil and mercenary club.

It sad to say that these day the Manchester United I grew up supporting doesn't exist anymore. It's just a corporate entity with a bunch of stooges running the show. Nobody gives a feck except keeping their job and making more money.

For me, this next managerial appointment is very crucial. If United appoint anyone bar Ten Hag, Conte or Enrique, I'm officially done. The United I grew up supporting doesn't exist anymore. The only thing that's left is the name.

Supporting any old club just isn't enough for me. I'll probably support Liverpool. Great Northern club, fine history, know what they're doing. Great manager. Likeable players.

The full package.

Of course not. If I ever support another club it would be a league 2/3 club but even that is unlikely.

Starting watching football because of Man United. The day I'm done with them is probably the day I'm done with football.

To be honest most people I know of around my age (mid thirties) are much more interested in their local non league/lower league teams and definitely going to PL games less. That’s a whole host of fans from different clubs inc Chelsea, Pool, Ars, Spurs fans (I don’t know or ever see any City fans) so it’s not just United and our issues, I think it’s football in general. Too many games, less connection with the players, invisible owners, ticket prices, tv channel prices…it’s just not what it used to be.

I’ll always support United, no matter who is in charge but there’s definitely a scale to which you feel invested and care. Mou really damaged that for me, Ole hasn’t changed that.

If we don’t stick by Ole long term, a club legend, the club I know and love will not be the same.

Maybe I’ll start keeping an eye on Barca who are about to appoint Xavi.

I might go for Liverpool, they play in red, have fantastic manager with a beautiful toothy smile and are clearly better than United. Plus Liverpool and Manchester are that close to each other it’s almost like it’s the same place. It’s barely changing at all as far as I can see.

Not a chance. I will start believing that we are no longer an elite club though.

No way. I support Bray wanderers in Ireland you know nothing of Hardship until you support a team like the Seagulls.

United will bounce back when they get the right Manager.

Yeah, been thinking shifting to Liverpool. Supporting United is frustrating, it's too much Robbie....

Serious answer: Of course not. I started watching football because of United and as a non-English fan, I've always known that my input over how the club is run is minuscule at best. Even if the Glazers took United down into a path of irrelevancy, I'd still find a way to watch the games and celebrate the goals. I've seen my club win the lot over the years and I know how privileged a position that is.

I always said I'd support United until I die but I never said which United. I always had a soft spot for the North East and I, for one, welcome our new Saudi overlords.
