Their transfer activity since 19/20 has been disastrous, if you exclude Hojberg and Reguillon to some extent.
Oof. Don't want to be on this forum if that happens.Few reliable journos saying their moving for Conte already.
After how publicly the Conte deal fell apart in July, it would be hilarious to watch them try to get him again.Few reliable journos saying their moving for Conte already.
They already tried that, Conte turned them down as he was not convinced by the project. And there were some disagreements about back room staff. Conte will want guaranteed investment in the squad, he will not be dictated to like say Nuno, if he gets a whiff of Levy going back on his word he will simply walk like he did at Inter giving zero f*^&s. I dont think Spurs can match Conte's ambition ultimately, he wants to be winning things, not struggling for a Europa league place, which is about where that Spurs team is now.Few reliable journos saying their moving for Conte already.

There is no reason why Moyes would quit West Ham to go to Spurs, It's not even a lateral move at the moment.I agree, that’s why I think they should go for him.
Spurs are underperforming and West Ham are over performing. They’re a Antonio injury away from being where Tottenham are at. Spurs recruitment has been good for quite some time. The Kane sale will still happen, wouldn’t be surprised if City go in for him in the January transfer window. They need two strikers anyway, let alone one. There is no reason why Moyes would quit West Ham to go to Spurs, It's not even a lateral move at the moment.
Koeman would 100% go for the job as wellThey'll go for Eddie Howe i reckon, and probably the only available manager who will agree to to the job out there besides Fonseca
You will have to explain to me how Spurs recruitment has been good. It appears to be quite poor to me.Spurs are underperforming and West Ham are over performing. Didn't they just beat us without him? I agree Tottenham is a step up, but West Ham is slowly becoming a good club.Spurs are underperforming and West Ham are over performing. He’s best ignoredYawn.
Literally no point. As I said in another thread, might as well go for Guardiola, Klopp or Zidane while we're at it.Few reliable journos saying their moving for Conte already.
Koeman would but he’s an awful manager who treats players like crap. His tactics are poor, he played Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a right-back in a match once.Spurs are underperforming and West Ham are over performing. I agree with most of this, Conte is a great manager, but he will want guarantees about investment in the squad and carte blanche over who plays and who goes out the door. He will not be a 'yes man' like Nuno is/was, and will walk out if Levy tries to backtrack on the contract he is putting on the table. I would honestly be surprised if Spurs land him as he will have specific demands and ambition that Spurs just cannot match in their current state.Literally no point. As I said in another thread, might as well go for Guardiola, Klopp or Zidane while we're at it.
He's an incredible manager but just very clearly the club and him are not a good fit at present. We're at the end of the cycle and need to start from fresh, with young, hungry players and a return to the recruitment of old. We've hopefully seen some signs of that with Romero, Emerson and Gil (in terms of the type of player, as opposed to me making a judgement on how good/ bad they've been) but the job will take quite a few windows now I think and someone like Conte won't tolerate Levy.
Why would anyone go for koeman?Spurs are underperforming and West Ham are over performing. They’re a Antonio injury away from being where Tottenham are at. Even Woodward won’t touch him, which is saying something. Why would anyone go for koeman?
Can they hope for anything whilst Levy is there? What are Spurs fans hoping for exactly?
Probably not, the man is a stain on the club. Can they hope for anything whilst Levy is there?
He was like their 27th choice, wasn't he? If a guy is that far down the list of candidates, chances are Levy probably didn't even want Nuno, hence why he's happy to sack him 10 games into the season. He fecked up the search, the team was still left managerless with the new season looming and he had to go with someone. One of the most bizarre appointments Tottenham have made. He’s just not someone you associate a spurs manager with and neither was Mourinho to be fair.

The Club can today announce that Nuno Espírito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties.
Fabio Paratici, Managing Director, Football, said: "I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have had to take this decision.
“Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.”
A further coaching update will follow in due course.
He takes it, I think. After Levy sacking Mourinho to bring attacking football back, they hired a Mourinho-Lite with none of the good and all the terrible on field attributes.Worst top 6 managerial appointment in the last decade? Him, Moyes and Arteta are quite close IMO.
Arteta is turning things around - relatively speaking anywayWorst top 6 managerial appointment in the last decade? Him, Moyes and Arteta are quite close IMO.
Since 19/20 ? You are being too kind to Pochettino - their transfer activity after 15/16 has been disastrous. They signed Alli, Son and Alderweireld the summer of 15/16 - and after that it's mainly been crap.Their transfer activity since 19/20 has been disastrous, if you exclude Hojberg and Reguillon to some extent.
Still finished 8-th twice and made Arsenal more mediocre than they were before. Don't let the Leicester result fool you, they got battered and Ramsdale saved them.Arteta is turning things around - relatively speaking anyway
