I see Spurs are another club who do the right thing and sack their under performing manager. Would be funny if they got Conte.
There was this one pundit who said that Spurs and Conte would be an awful mix. Conte insists on total control, and a lot of money to sign new players. Levy is not a big fan of giving a manager any of those things

Terrible appointment that was obviously never going to work - all down to Levy messing about all summer to get a manager. Nuno seemed like a decent guy but it was never going to work. I wish him well but Levy needs to sort his shit out with the next appointment.

He takes it, I think. After Levy sacking Mourinho to bring attacking football back, they hired a Mourinho-Lite with none of the good and all the terrible on field attributes.
Yeah. Was funny seeing them both (Levy and Nuno) talking about attacking football. Was obvious that Nuno was going to be even worse than Mourinho in that regard.

He was far down their list of appointments too, which is probably why they pulled the trigger now. Their fans seem to be hoping that PSG sack Pochettino to hire Zidane so they can get Poch back.

Still finished 8-th twice and made Arsenal more mediocre than they were before. Don't let the Leicester result fool you, they got battered and Ramsdale saved them.
They are unbeaten since August

Levy is hands down the worst chairman in the league. By a long way.
He refused to sell a player desperate to leave for £100 million now causing a toxic scenario on and off the pitch.

And hired their 8th choice Manager of which he sacked after 10 games

I think Levy is doing pretty well

Think we may have missed out here...
If Conte goes to Spurs he must be desperate for work.

I really don't see how it goes well. He's an elite coach and Spurs have good players. However, Spurs don't have great players. Also Spurs don't have the money to sign great players either. If Spurs couldn't give Pochettino and Mourinho what they wanted in the transfer market, will they be able to deliver for Conte..?

If this is true, he must have been promised what he wasn’t in the summer. Maybe Kane money to spend in January?
How much do you think Spurs can get for him, playing quite poorly with his contract running down?

So OGS didn't just get through Saturday's game without being sacked, he got the opposition manager sacked instead. Can't complain about the level of drama here, at least.

Perhaps with Conte they can play a 352 formation, with Kane & Son as strikers, (replicate what he had in Inter with Lukako & Martinez) Romero played in a back 3 so he would also benefit from it and I think Rugilion & E.Royal can do a job as WBs, maybe the issue would be who would be alongside Hojberg in midfield, Ndombele & Lo Celso are a bit meh & Skip is probably too young for Conte's liking.

Conte doesn’t mince his words. I hope spurs are prepared to get their feelings hurt.

They wouldn't sack him without a replacement ready. Seems as though they've had the green light from Conte  our board are fecking dimwits.

Both clubs underperforming, but really, losing 3-0 to us after we just got pumped at home to Liverpool is a horrendous result.

The better long term choice for Spurs is Potter. Kane is as good as gone next season.

Arteta won an FA Cup and may turn things around yet.

Moyes, Lampard and if it's the last decade then maybe Villas-Boas sneaks in.
It's hard to count Chelsea appointments imo. They don't get much say over transfers are never there long enough to do any lasting damage if they don't perform well.

Spurs having higher standards and ambition than United, what a joke. Watch us miss out on Conte like we did Tuchel.

I mean, they did just sack a manager the week before a final and then hired Nuno Espirito Santo. If that's higher standards, I don't really want that at United.

A manager who never had any place at a top club. At least Spurs corrected their mistake early and got rid.

Yep, talks must've reached an advanced stage and hence the immediate sack.

Watching the TV or is it watching me
If Spurs get Conte the meltdown from United fans on the Cafe and Twitter will be massive.

As for Nuno it's hard to see what Spurs thought they were getting, his system at Wolves wasn't great but at least he had progressive passers in Moutinho and Neves, at Spurs Hojberg, Skipp and others don't have the same passing range

Nuno getting his p45 felt inevitable watching their game on the weekend .Daniel Levy simply needs to swallow some pride and give Antonio Conte whatever he wants.
