Ironically I’d say the two players he grossly over paid for Maguire and Wan Bissaka are playing a large part in costing him his job.

No sane person can defend him after this tactical performance, forget the result just look at how we were set up and how we performed. We are miles and miles behind the top sides even with the top players we have.

Ole still has his defenders, both inside and out of the boardroom, he's going nowhere! The absolute state of how this club is run is beyond pathetic.

His coaching is an actual joke at this point. It's hard to have respect for him as a manager, I can't imagine how it must be for the top players.

At least we won't see him being all smug in the post match interviews.

Not a single shot on fecking target in the second half. I'm so fecking done with him. How anyone can still defend him is beyond me

If Ole survives dropping 11 points off the lead (should we win today) and Arsenal move ahead of Man Utd…. He is untouchable this season.

I can't remember why I joined this war.
I think the one scene for me today which again showed the entire ineptness of his coaching and team setup was in the second half when McTom received the ball from Lindelöf and was surrounded by 4 sky-blue shirts, not a single red shirt in passing distance. Luckily the ref called a foul when he was dispossessed, and we got a free kick. But it showed the entire difference in how well drilled City are, who tightly-knit this group of players acts as a unit, and how our players are set up to fail by being completely without structure and a plan. There is a reason why Guardiola, Tuchel, Klopp and all those managers worth their salt actually train stuff like players keeping a specific distance to other players at all times and moving into specific zones depending on where the ball moves, because it has to become second nature to these players, so they don't have to think about what to do in these high tempo and high-pressure scenarios anymore.

If we just keep sending players out there after doing a bit of running and shooting training and then hope that our individual brilliance gets us over the hill we are bound to fail against those well drilled teams at the upper end of the player skill area and that's why so many of us say we need a progressive coach like ten Hag who can drill that sort of unity into their teams. Ole, Carrick et al. most certainly have proven after almost 3 years that they can't teach their players anything, it's also part of the reason why most players who looked great at other clubs come to us and look useless and why we almost never improve any player.

That being said, of course now Conte is gone we have no realistic option to obtain on short notice, Zidane unfortunately also doesn't strike me as someone who doesn't set a lot of faith into individual brilliance instead of a well drilled unit, so I'm very unsure if he would be a solution to our problems and with the managers who might actually be, they will most likely not leave mid-season.

This has been a constant under Ole but it's generally Pogba that is on the ball.

I have no words. This was simply disgusting. Yet you'll still have some fecking idiots in here telling us how he has improved us. fecking clueless football
Bruno just said after being asked about the performance:

"We have to change because this has already happened many times this season"

It's over. We are just waiting for the curtain call. All very Van Gaal at present.

Anyone should be able to see now he doesn’t have the tactical nous, after reading so much nonsense here for years about how we just couldn’t see it. I wanted to like him, but it’s always been clear and we just tried to convince ourselves otherwise because of who he is.

Even Ole must know, in his heart, that he doesn’t really know what he is doing. Just hoping different punts come off. No direction, no style, no consistency.

The club is a laughing stock and oppo fans are taking the piss. He needs to see that he is hurting the club. No job is worth the damage he is doing and the time he is wasting.

Have some pride and walk

Anyone seen those photos on twitter of him signing a half and half city/united scarf after the game. Mental.

Seeing his face generates a lot of dislike within me. That’s really unusual for people that aren’t politicians/criminals etc. Weird that it’s happening over something like football, but there you go.

Some great leg crossing action on bench and the mouth-covered whispering to Carrick was a solid 7/10

Becaue there isn't one, he'll never get any job at any PL club other than United
I agree. Such a travesty we've become. Solskjaer surely knows it himself. How further down do we have to go under this guy before the board react? I'm not holding my breath for good news
