Better run club though, Delia Smith puts our entire board to shame!
It'd be difficult to find a more incompetent board than United's in top flight football around the world.

Perhaps Barca's previous regime comes close.

It’s mind boggling that he’s still here. 7-0 aggregate loss to our two biggest rivals in a week
It's only fair to give Chelsea their 3pts too before doing anything. At this rate I'd rather see Chelsea win the league than the other 2.

Why is everyone interpreting this differently. He’s basically saying he doesn’t want the new CEO to blame him for not sacking Ole so now he will do it himself.
Probably because that’s not what he’s saying.

I actually feel for Ed at this point. Imagine being shamed by Delia 'where are youuuuu' Smith.

The absolute indignity of it.

I really don't get the point in keeping him until the end of the season, he's not up to the job it's clear as day. What if he were to go on a good run between February and May. Will it then be reviewed and he get another season?

No, get shut now. If it means we have a few weeks of a temporary manager then that has to be the case until we get the correct candidate.

Let's have it right we first and foremost want a manager who wants the job, we don't want another man sat in a hotel for two years.

We also want a man who is going to give us a clear indication of a style of football he will play and he will stick with that rather than swap and change each week hoping to fall into a system that works.

The problem with Ole is the players don't know what they are supposed to be doing, god knows what they do in training each day.

I'm convinced you slot any of our players into the City team and give them a few weeks training with Pep and they'd slot straight in and play football their way.

This decision needs making now, we still have competitions at stake, Chelsea won the Champions league making the call at the correct time. United can wait for the end of the season but it means another campaign without a trophy.

This was always going to be a big problem with someone like Ole and thinking you can do a long-term project with an unproven manager.
That’s why the Fergie and Klopp argument was so bat shit crazy .

With Fergie and Klopp you had seen previously what the men could achieve so even at a “crisis point” you had full reason to believe that they would pull through it. Ole‘s CV tells the exact opposite (Cardiff crisis) so how do you sit there in the board now trying to convince yourself or anyone else that he is suddenly going to turn into a Klopp or Pep buster. You’d rightfully be taken out in a fecking straight jacket.

It speaks volumes that Norwich have sacked their manager when they've picked up more points from their last 5 than we have. If Solskjaer isn't gone this week I actually despair, it's past the point of negligence.

My goodness!!!! Really? That’s really low.

P. E. Teeecher is not even an abusive word. It actually describes Ole’s abilities in a single word. Actually, I have seen P. E. teeechers with more tactical sense than Ole.
Name 3.

We go again against Watford with Ole in charge. Unbelievable really. Not even Liverpool at their lowest where as badly run as us. Reckon we could go even longer than they did without a title.

If he's not gone by the end of Tuesday I get the rage, but it's not even 9am on Sunday morning. If people expected him to be binned off that quickly its your own fault, that wasn't ever happening.
I think it’s more that there’s not even any murmurs. Anyone who has said anything has said that Utd are still backing him.

Im not throbbing at the idea of Ole going because I like the man and wanted it to work, but it seems strange there’s not even a bit of noise after the recent performances

Joke of a club. Never thought it would be this bad after Fergie left. Some piss takers said United were done and it would be years before they won another title but I didn't take that seriously, thinking it's United, no way that could happen..
Utterly incompetent club. I'm not even annoyed when we lose anymore.

This can't be true...
So the 3 games to prove himself was a load of shite then because a win against a terrible Spurs side, scraping a draw against Atalanta and being absolutely played off the park at home against City sure as hell doesn’t warrant keeping your job. The board are a bunch of cowards and as I suspected will probably use the international break to let things blow over.

The „trainer effect“ when he gets the sack and a new one starts will be sooo influential cause our squad is amazing

The crazy thing is, the board haven’t taken into account that aside from the Spurs game, the team could have lost every game they’ve won. Look at the UCL group, we should be bottom of that group if it wasn’t for Ronaldo

He’s had three years to build his squad to a level where we should be able to compete with City and Liverpool. Instead we’ve looked like absolute gash. If he’s still in charge against Watford it means he won’t be sacked for a while.

They think it’s just one big game of championship manager and united are doing well. Ed and Arnold are simply not football people, they are money people…i looked at who was on the board and I don’t see anyone there with football knowledge.
Who are at the United board? Just interested.

Reached the conclusion that it barely matter. When we somehow managed to hire him, and failed to replace him with Pochettino, Tuchel or Conte when they were available, there is little indication that they have any idea of what they are doing.

I could see them end up replacing OGS with Rodgers, Southgate or someone else useless. And if we actually, by luck, stumble across someone good, I really cant see us giving him proper support.

The level of incompetence is sad. The only «good thing» from this is the amount of money Joel Glazer has managed to piss away on being clueless.

He has saved his job. Beat Spurs, got a point in Bergamo and improved on a 5-0 loss to Liverpool by losing just 2-0 to City. He will stay.

If he stays till Watford game then it means this season is over and United board don’t care.

Then I hope he loses every game he manages from now on. But still go on till we drop into the conference and beyond. Because certainly keeping him in the job is more important than the value of the club itself.

Bro, Woodward aint leaving till end of the season(April). Then his pal, Arnold is gonna replace him. Ole's gonna be at the wheel. No one's gonna blame anyone, its not the Man Utd way.

Tis the crux of it. Three years and almost half a billion quid, yet we look further away from both now than we did when he took over.

Problem is that there are no any rumours about sacking. After Pool game, rumours started about meetings etc...
This time nothing except some sources saying "he is staying". So it is not rage why he is not sacked yet, it is rage that he is staying
