I’m not saying Ronaldo is a bad player, but since he turned up we have been utter shite. How did we play against Leeds at the beginning of the season or last season without him - certainly a lot bloody better than we have done since Ronnie returned.

he does not suit the way we are asking the team to play and while he has been one of only a few bright points it has been to the detriment of the rest of our performances.

we have become so inept and easy to play against - our regression from last year is phenomenal - while Ole is clearly tactically not up to it he is having to shoe horn a player into a system that makes the rest of the team play worse or more exposed

if people are really deluded enough to think that Ronaldo coming back has been beneficial to the team overall then you are seeing the game differently to me
I agree that Ronaldo signing is somewhat problematic - but you are cherry-picking evidence here. We not only won against Leeds without Ronaldo, but also drew against Southampton (not being better than them) and were utterly outplayed by Wolves. And last season we were toothless in EL final, crashed out of CL group, and were distant 4th in the league on expected points, so 2nd position somewhat flattered us.

Did someone say that run of games is "alarming?"

After Arsenal, we have literally the worst teams in the league up quite soon. Norwich, Burnley, Newcastle etc
You alarmed yet?

It’s gone even worse than I initially envisioned.

4-1 to Watford. Christ.

i Know you champion him a lot but I'm not sure how the fit works if I am honest.
I'm not championing him, I'm on the get someone until 2023 and get Rose or ten Hag then. But there is nothing that makes Zidane not a fit, at least nothing obvious.

Paddy power are apparently paying out those who bet on him to be sacked. Take that as you will, just an annoyed, slightly drunken fan hearing from a mate.

Funnily enough I havent been paid out yet...

Zidane is actually involved in training, this idea that he leaves the training ground stuff to the coaches is completely false. What is true is that like Klopp he isn't the one leading the training sessions, it's Bettoni's role, at Liverpool it's Pep Lijnders role.
Who is the one leading the training session with Zidane?

I will love to see him in the PL TBH, we will have the best managers all in one league, do fell for Ole though.

Skybet have had Solskjaer specials on their site most the week which have now been taken down.

Make of that what you will.

I wish you could feck off instead. He's a legend of the club, call him a shit manager but work on your respect when you tell him go "feck off chirpy clown"
Relax, friend. Ole is stealing a living, he's not doing us any favors. Fans who pay for the club have the absolute right to call him whatever they like.

I don't think Zidane is a good idea.
Why not? He managed Varane and Ronaldo, the latter who produced some of his best performances in the CL under Zidane.

The guy has won 3 CL's in a row, can manage big egos, loves Pogba (so would probably get the best out of him consistently), probably won't play McFred partnership and won a La Liga without Ronaldo.

No Brainer if you ask me, best guy available right now IF he would take it.

It would be so exciting if we hire Zidane. I'd be absolute buzzing.
Would be a statement signing really and I wouldn't pick against us having a deep run in Europe with him at the helm.

Curious as to how hell adapt to the English game but he did it at the biggest club in the world and the top managers in the league all came from foreign leagues also so I wouldn't doubt he'd adjust well with time while bringing real gravitas and seriousness back to the touch line

Sad to see all this instability. Wanted Ole to be a success for years ay united. Unfortunately this won’t happen. The club is in a bad place now.

It’s very poetic that this sh*t show is happening at the end of Woodward’s reign. Just epitomize his fantastic job.
Thanks Woodward…hope I will never see you again…

Ive said it before and I'll say it again. Dont expect a manager to resign. He has a contract, he's doing his best. He's out of his depth and I think he knows it. But his lawyers, friends, family, all of them will be saying to him wait till you're pushed. It would take a man of outstanding moral fibre to sacrifice the money he's owed under his contract because he knows he's not good enough. Its a job and he's a professional at the end of the day. The club shouldn't put him in this position - they ought to have had the balls to accept they had messed up months ago and pulled the trigger.

I agree about Fabrizio Romano, 90% of the time he just makes educated guesses based on what the news is. He'd make a good cold-reader/medium. Maybe that's what he does in his evenings.

There’s a leaked clip that was doing the rounds the other week where he’d prerecorded a video discussing Ole’s sacking. Think he had it ready to go after the Liverpool game so he certainly has all bases covered. Will be interesting to see if the records a new video when he does eventually get sacked or if he just wheels out that old one.

Ole = Carrick.

Please, please - don't give it to Carrick... Rather feckin Giggs
What's his present incarceration status though? If he's out on parole could he manage if tagged?

What is wrong with some of you people on this forum? Dissing the tactical acumen of a man they won 3 CLs in a row is just pure craziness
