I remember reading a news article saying Ole was seen returning from his holiday alone and his family stayed in Norway. I think it was a Luckhurst article iirc.

We can laugh but SAF to the end of the season would buy the time. The players would play for him and the shock factor alone would get him to the end of the season. Then hire Tag.

SAF will be 80 years old in December. He's been out of the game for 7 years and had suffered a brain hemorrhage. Let the guy rest.

The thought was a break would see memories fade. Under no circumstances we were meant to lose to Watford, you then battle against Chelsea & toss the coin against Arsenal.

I genuinely believe they’re shell shocked by just how bad things have been. The usual bounce back just hasn’t happened.
Oh, of course they're shocked. They did everything right. They let a failing coach continue to keep doing what isn't working, let him and the players who weren't on international duty time off to not train together, and stuck their fingers in their ears. I'm actually amazed that we didn't hammer Watford 5-0 because they prepared so well for us to "bounce back".

Hold me.

Hearing ramblings of Fletcher/Carrick to take over as the interims until a replacement is found.

Rob Dawson from MEN specifically.
Seems to be at ESPN. His most recent MEN article is from when Jose was manager.

Ole > Fletchy/Carricky > Bodger

If this happens I hope we get relegated.

Imagine losing to Villa at home. Getting spanked by Rodgers Foxes who have been utter shite this season. Losing 0-5 to our biggest rivals at home. Being toyed around by City at home who made a PL game look like a friendly... All of this happened but what required an "emergency meeting" was a 4-1 loss to Watford.

Keep on repeating myself but Ole or no Ole we are fecked under the Glazers.

How can we expect to start winning things again when our entire board is riddled with people who knows feck all about the sport let alone whats required to win?

I am a 100% sure has been fired.
Just asking why. Because you know for sure or just because thats what you think has happened based on what you think should happen and leaked press?

United in a nut shell.

Bryan Robson a confirmed alcoholic, says the team need to go to the pub and bond over a pint

Stop it.
He's 80 or so, and came back from a life threatening condition. To even suggest him is really ridiculous 8 or 9 years after he retired.

I don't want to see Carrick anywhere near another management team. He's failed 3 times hasn't he already????

We need someone from outside the club.
For the future yes, but for a game or 2 while we hastily sort a new manager, it has to be someone inside.

Unless we go down the route of a half season interim, which can be dangerous if they do better than expected.

I agree. We have already seen one of our legends get abused thanks to this incompetent board, I can't see Sir alex also failing.

This. Once Ole is sacked the focus has to move back onto the Glazers. It’s probably why they haven’t sacked him yet because all the focus is on the manager rather than them.

If the Carrick/Fletcher combo is being mooted, it has to be with an eye to handling the coming couple of games only (we hope). I feel Ole is gone but the board are uncertain about the immediate next step. The CL game has real impact on remaining season...Given today's performance, it's hard to imagine Ole getting much out of the players for it so maybe the board believes sacking him will wake the squad up for the game and an Internal temp is the only logical option given the time.
