Bright half, lots of tempo and good possession with decent movement, just need to get the job done in the 2nd half.

Greenwood was been our best player in the first 10-15 games of the season. I hope he gets minutes in the second half.

good half. controlled the game and had some nice moves - end product is missing but there were two moments at least where we could have scored with a bit more intelligence

That was throughly enjoyable apart from not scoring. Haven't been reading the thread, but if its not mostly positive in here I have to laugh.

We should be winning this, much the better team, hopefully we get the deserved breakthrough.
Some seem to be a bit sour. It was a promising half, the players have seemingly understsood the concept, some players look like a great fit(Lindelof, Fred, Dalot or Sancho), Some players are showing their limitations(Rashford, Bruno and McTominay).

He's had a decent game to be fair, but attacking was never his problem, it's the other end of the pitch that he causes the fans sleepless nights
When team tactics are right he won’t be put in more defensive situations. And awb will be useless from here on, as ralf said team is playing more on opponent’s half.

I'm sure the goals will come. I just hope we can keep it tight at the back.

Dalot has been absolutely fantastic. Don't want to see AWB anywhere near the team. Pressing has been really excellent (incredible improvement considering how little time Ralf has had with the squad). Have won the ball back pretty much immediately anytime we've lost it. Final pass is the only thing that hasn't looked great. Players are clearly trying to go more direct with their passing but the quality of delivery isn't quite there yet. Once we get 1st goal, more will flow imo.

The differences are there for all to see, as much as I loved Ole and supported him for as long as possible (up to Pool match) this is a breath of fresh air.
More of the same and it will come. No doubt.

Positive stuff, but couldn't score the goal. Palace are dangerous on counter but so far our players dealt with it nicely. Telles is a good crosser of the ball but certainly hasn't showed it so far today, 2 times towards the end of the half where he had all the time and space to cross it properly but didn't do it.

You're getting too excited over a few games. We've been here before with Dalot. We have a proper coach now though, so maybe this is his opportunity to grab finally and kick on
Actually not that excited at all, if you read my post again I say that he hasn’t even been that great. The point I’m trying to make is that AWB is so bad, just about anyone should be playing over him.

We were redlly good to watch the majority of the half, and it's a while since I've been able to say that. Shame we didn't get the goal that our domination probably deserved, couldn't get that one great chance among the decent ones that we did create. End of the half wasn't as good so hopefully we can go back out in the second half with that same intensity and get the goal early. Palace haven't offered much but obviously we always have a defensive mistake in us so don't want us to drop behing with too little time to react.

Positive signs about controlling the game and not for our poor passing in final third (something RR will be acutely aware of) we could be couple of goals up!

Our defenders still give me cause for concern given how little they've had to do, and not done it all that good so at 0-0 Palace will fancy their chances.

Very good half. We are pressing and committing. They are making a lot of mistakes because we put pressure on them. ! It was fun. I don’t know since when I did not see us dominating a game like !
We are a bit wasteful in the last pass still, but it will come.
I like Sancho ! He makes things happen and is a joy to watch when combining…Ronaldo as well, they like to find each other. They are the two first names on the team sheet right now !

It’s clear that many of our players are not used to making quick decisions after winning the ball back and that tells on the pitch. I also think our eagerness to find Ronaldo in the box makes us a little too predictable. Overall it was a good half but you can’t help but think of the state of our midfield. I guarantee you that Ralf is signing a midfielder or two in January.

Wouldn't give anyone bar Bruno (who would get a 6) below a 7/10 after that. Was a good watch.
He's turned into a right biatch (can I say that? I'm saying it anyway so feck it) recently. Constantly moaning like a scraggly bearded twat who's just been told by his mates to stop taking everything so personally.

A good half hour I thought. Looked really bright and full of energy. Quite good on the ball. But we don't create much, is my concern. For all of our play, we didn't create any big chances. In the last 10/15 minutes, the tempo really went out of the game and Palace looked comfortable. Credit to them as well, they're fairly well organized.

We should win this. Our fullbacks are very good today. We need to be more clinical in penaltybox. To put more Bodies in there.

Amazing to see us play some real football again. Only thing required now is a passing movement to get into their box. Pumping aimless balls into the box is not going to cut it.

We kept moving the ball forward. Even while Palace sat deep in their half we tried to move the ball forward fast so that's a huge positive. We need a breakthrough and I suspect Palace will collapse.

Probably - I found it on a channel called SuperSport via our internet satellite TV, I suspect it's also on Sky Italy and Sky Germany. Just go through all your channels.
Thanks. I’ve gone to the pub. Hopefully on there
