At that range you jut get the 4.4 one and invest elsewhere. 6m is pretty much the base for anyone half decent in midfield.
It depends on the structure of your side. Fred is better than the 4.4 options if he will be a first or possibly even second sub.

4.4 options are always third subs. 1st and 2nd subs for most right now are ESR/Gallagher/Livra/White/Hwang/Broja etc all of whom have better odds for return.

Sterling and Gundogan seems pretty nailed on these days too. Always involved. Im a Bernardo+Foden man myself though. Waiting to see what Foden's appearances will look like in the next couple of games - 8.1m is a bit too much if he only features every second game.
Not convinced as KDB, Foden and Grealish have been injured.

I think Grealish Foden Jesus is the first choice front 3 when all available though that can alter with form.

Kane went down to 12.2 last night.

I was surprised a twitter account said he "COULD" go down, as at about 9.30pm he was on a mere 65% on fpl. Shows you can't listen to that site this year.

Luckily, as a couple of you helped me out with, I'd bought at 12.2, so I stillhave him as 12.2

Just need to be certain Ronaldo won't move up from 12.3 now, as I have a 0.1m margin for error :)

Again it depends on the structure of your side. For many successful managers? Sure. For all? Never. There's plenty out there with at least two of a fodder forward, a 4.4 midfield and a 3.9/4.0 defender.

People might move for Ronaldo early this week, given that nobody is expecting him to play in the CL.

Is Davies becoming a cheeky option? Seems to be a starter for Spurs under Conte. Doesn't have too much attacking upside but at 4.4, could be a good bench option?

Going to need to monitor Reguilon's and Toney's status ahead of next week. If both of them are out, I'll be forced to play Watkins against Liverpool and Saint-Maximin at Leicester next week which isn't ideal but may still not force me to take a hit...

He does go forward too and got two assists yesterday. Him and Dalot could be good cheap alternatives for Livra who is a bit of a shitshow now that Soton are without any keepers.

But then would you waste a transfer for your 5th bench option defender? Probably not.

I think quite a few people will be playing with 5 defenders this year, the way the season has gone so far. I am now aiming for a defence of TAA, Reguilon, Cancelo, Rudiger and Cucurella. I imagine there will be some weeks where I play all 5.

I'd probably rather have a 5th defender than 3rd striker this year.

I'll have to avoid Ronaldo. Too much fuss to get him into the team, I'd need to compromise my midfield or defense significantly, and I don't think Ronaldo will compensate for that enough. The thing with strikers like him is that he needs to score two goals to get into double digits, he won't get many assists and at his price he really needs to score almost every game to justify it (which he's capable of). Also, with the options we have up front he just has to be rotated during Christmas period.

Also, I will never captain him as Salah is default captain this year even in tougher games. So the value of having a 12m+ forward is diminished. I'll probably go for King + Watkins + Toney/Antonio now.

That little phase is over. Midfield 5 is the template right now.

Salah, Jota, Foden, Bernardo, Gundogan, Mount, Bowen, Sancho, ESR, Gallagher, Son, Buendia, etc all super tasty right now.

Rubbish 37 points with ESR (if he's fit) left to play.

No bench bar Allan next week with Duffy suspended and Williams ineligible.

Probably gonna do ASM > King tonight. Bowen can wait another week. Gallagher will be the one to make way if he doesn't return anything against Everton.

Bus team for 16...

Sa
Cancelo TAA James
ESR Gallagher Jota Salah
Ronaldo King Watkins

Subs : Allan

Salah captain of course but might be tempted with a punt on Ron if he's rested in midweek.

Yeah, I will be going 451 most of the time. I don't think I'll go 3 at the back anytime soon though...

Got a midfield of Salah, Jota, Foden, Gallagher, Bowen. Gallagher is the one I may want to swap soon if Vieira keeps playing him as an 8 as opposed to 10 he was earlier this season.

Yep, considering both of them also. Maybe for Alonso and Livra. Need to see if Dalot can keep his place but serious value at 4.4m if he does. Davies looks nailed

I am stuck with Benteke as I always have other fires to put out every week. Should I keep him for next few weeks or is it Gallagher or nothing at Palace.

Might be time for me to get rid of Ronaldo. I could have Son and Silva over Gallagher and Mbeumo if I do.

Son is great and I am a Bernardo owner but even I was surprised with a 15 pointer. My combo for this run is Ronaldo - Bernardo - Foden.
+1 I was debating between Bernardo and Gundo a few weeks ago and somewhat arbitrarily selected Silva and it has paid off well.

I want to double up on the city midfield now, debating if it's worth going for Grealish in that false 9 role or if he's more of a rotation risk than Foden. I think Gundo's days are done now that both Grealish and Kdb are back.

Foden over Grealish easily. Same price as well so no question for me. Foden looks like creating a big chance or finishing a big chance everytime they attack and Pep again was waxing lyrical about him. Also on set pieces and I think he will play as false 9 in most games. I have a plan to get him next GW and absolutely dreading even going one GW without him.

Hopefully Bernardo's feck xG marathon continues. Against any team that defends deep Silva is gonna be the primary attacker so hopefully that happens.

So difficult to know what to do. Kane to Ronaldo feels sensible, but if you have 2 FTs and have no City players bar Cancelo, should you push funds back? I could do Toney and Mbeumo to Bernardo Silva and a 4.4, for instance, either keeping Kane or hitting Ronaldo in too.

Interested to see how people vote here. I have two FTs, which of the following appeals?
A) Kane to Ronaldo and roll 1 FT;
B) Kane, Mbeumo, Toney to Ronaldo, Bernardo and 4.4 forward
C) Kane, Mbeumo, Brownhill to King, Foden and Bernardo;
D) Mbeumo, Toney to Bernardo and 4.4 forward, keeping Kane

I don’t want a non playing person in my squad over the Xmas period, especially so if my second sub was a Brownhill type. I feel like a sitting duck without a City midfielder though, so maybe you’re right to go for it.

Ronaldo on 86% already.
Looks fairly likely to go up.

Will probably do it tonight, risk him getting through Wed ok.
