Sevilla 17/18 all over again. Tight tie where our naivety shows. Let's hope they're as shit as they were against Chelsea last season.

We could be in a very different place come February though, again similar to Chelsea last season.

What.. they changed the away goals rule?
Easier than PSG. they have been poor this season.

Expect it to be a really boring game though

I’m actually excited for this rule change. We’ve been knocked out on away goals so many times in the past 25 years.

They can really up their offense at times, played some great stuff vs Liverpool.

Me aswell for watching football in general. We'll have way more dramatic games, extra-time, penalties.

I like this more. Performance wise not a whole lot between PSG/Inter/Atletico, PSG obviously has the highest potential level with the players they have but they rarely reach it. Main thing for me is it's just far more interesting. Feels like a new fixture we never play compared to the regular games vs PsG the past few years.

If you think di Maria had it bad in 2019, wait until Suarez returns to Old Trafford.

Won't be easy at all. We struggle against teams that defend well, and these shitcnuts defend well, especially in UCL.

I predict two very boring games with not many goals.

It's going to be a real crap couple of games but we can definitely get through. Ronaldo's licking his lips.

I think people are over-discounting Atletico Madrid. We aren't playing them this month, we are playing them after the Winter Break.

Liverpool at this stage last season were also under-performing.

We have this in the bag guys — we have Mr.Champions League playing for us whom just happens to love scoring versus Atletico.

Tbf it's hard to say with any certainty what we'll look like come February. I'm optimistic because we have a squad of players with a big potential so I hope that Rangnick can get them playing well together by then, but I don't think any previous issues with Ole will really be holding us back by then.

Second worse side we could get after PSG.

At the moment they're the favourites but there's plenty of time till the match and we can beat them. Cristiano loves to score against them.

With Ronaldo on a mission and Ralf's game planning, I'm reasonably confident. I hope we iron out the beginning troubles with the pressing by the time the first leg rolls around.

Bleh. At least someone new, not fecking PSG.

But these will be horrible games, and Atleti should be considered favourites.

Inter would've been worse.

Atletico should've lost home and away against Milan and didn't impress against Porto. Liverpool beat them twice without getting out of 1st gear.

Don't mind them. I think we should beat them. Glad to play someone we have not. Inter would have been fun as well.

we finally get to see the prince that was promised Antoine Griezmann at Old Trafford. I hope supporters boo the hell out of that little fecker.

Really? This season, that's a super pessimistic POV.

Great draw for us. Atletico are shit and they shouldn't be much of a threat to our shambolic defense that hopefully will be fixed by the time we play them.

It could potentially be over three months until the second leg still. Both of these teams have lots of room for improvement. Atletico are probably slight favourites right now, but that could well shift by the time we actually play.

We wouldn't beat Salzburg the way we're currently playing. Atletico is happy as hell they got us instead of Bayern.

But as I said, there's plenty of time before the match. I expect us to get way better.

Better than PSG imo. Atletico, even though they are Spanish champions, are not as good as in 2014 or 2016 or even couple years ago. They didn't impress in group stages, though both Porto and Milan are decent teams. In La liga, Atletico are on 29 points after 16 games, we're on 27 points after 16 games and it's been far from good season for us so far.

I'd actually be happier if 2nd leg was in Madrid. Think we cope better with pressure if return leg is away from home, but maybe it's just me having Sevilla flashbacks.

There was 6 possible opponents for us and we draw PSG, and then Atletico Madrid  anyways, there is 2 months to prepare and improve as a team.
