"You and your paper can feck off."
It's all about midfielders. add prime Messi and Ronaldo to this line up, we would look exactly same. It's been years, I bet even Pep would look worst manager with MCT. I can't remember when we dominated midfield. It's not coincidence that every managers failed to manage our midfield. We just need to play with every technical midfielders we have, VDB - Fred - Bruno
The only thing technical about VDB is that he's technically a footballer.

How can this be the team we alienated Martial for? Are you really telling me we wouldn’t do much better with Martial leading the line and connecting the dots with our other attackers?

Rangnick is clueless for how much he features Ronaldo in this team. I won’t stop saying it either because it’s pretty obvious Ronaldo isn’t working well with the squad. Everyone is forced to pass to him when they could shoot themselves. We are playing with 10 men which is unbelievable when you factor in our other handicaps in AWB and mctominay.

Conte was the man. These players need a rocket up their arse and he was the man to fire it.
The board were scared that he'd call out their shit which is why we didn't go for him and why was probably perfect for it and what we needed

Not surprised. And as soon as everyone accepts that we have overrated players and some that wouldn’t even get to play for Burnley the better.

People can blame managers until end of the world but are players don’t even seem to be interested. Lot of them.

Its time some serious questions are asked of the players.
De Gea, Jones, Varane and Greenwood the only players that done well today.
We are a shambles atm.

I think as soon as a manager demands any sort of effort they down tools. The players are rotten. Constantly rewarded for their mediocrity with huge contracts and 0 accountability for their performances.

Dig up stupid!
No surprise to see everyone piling in on the midfielders (and I'm not saying we don't need to improve there btw) but no matter who's playing in there the complete disconnect from the front players is a far bigger issue than the quality we have playing in there

The amount of times Scott got on the ball only to find 4 wolves players on him but not a red shirt in sight. Contrast to wolves who always had 2+ options no matter who's on the ball.

We're far too stretched, you cannot play like that now. Top teams are compact, they move as a unit back and forth, side to side in unison. Wolves did that today and controlled the game throughout

We remain an awfully coached team, ralfs reputation is flattering him so far. Lots of work to be done

Shout out to Jones - the only bright spot today

Rashford - shit
Sancho - shit
Mct - shit

Shaw - under par
AWB - under par
Matic - under par

Jones - decent
DDG - decent

Bruno - good

Ronaldo, Cavani & Greenwood - absent (no service)
Ronaldo is beyond shite and it’s pretty pathetic to add him next to greenwood who is far and above our only hope currently.

One thing that we learned is that JONES is better than our 80M Maguire after all.

But midfield is abysmal, Matic is old since three years ago, McTominay has one game where he plays like Zidane and is sh*t for the next 15 games. No creativity whatsoever anywhere. Aliens from Space Jam have stolen Rashford's and Sancho's talent. Fullbacks are so clumsy on the ball and offer nothing. Ronaldo frustrated all the time. Bruno was mostly a positive, added some creativity but missed a sitter and was easily dealt with later in the game. I like Cavani, but he was invisible and was played clearly out of position. Greenwood was okay but he isn't useful when he has to dribble near the halfway line.

There are moments in every match where there's just complete chaos in defense and it looks like we are from Sunday League. Our opponents almost always get very easily into the box.

Utter-utter shambles this team at the moment. So many players have randomly lowered their level since last season and the season before that and we have lost everything we had then. Just no words anymore and no clue how to fix this. This season is in the bin and it's very difficult to climb back from here :(

McTominay and Matic is a flabbergasting choice. You can not play McTominay and not play Fred.

What an absolute bunch of cowards, they have no fight in them at all. The exit door needs to be shown for many come the end of the season, and this isn’t on Ralph……this lot are cowards!!!!!

Time to see a reaction from Ralf because fans aren’t putting up with that shit for 6 months.

Do something Ralf.
We can't keep blaming managers. The players have to take a lot of blame. They've been awful.

That said, I don't think it helps that RR plays a 442. Suits no one!

I want to see a manager with the balls to drop Ronaldo. His form has gone and he has been a passenger the last few games And we loose the press.

wolves deserved the 3 points, we played poorly but the balance of the team was all wrong, we started with 3 centre forwards albeit in different positions. With just 2 in midfield one of whom is close to retirement and one who had his one season good game last week, We were constantly over run In midfield and had zero control.

FFS buy some quality in midfield.

Jones the one plus.
Rashford suddenly looks a pub team player.
I don’t agree with this. They were well on the game but didn’t deserve the 3 points with virtually no chances created. We can’t complain though.

I am starting to think that Ragnick is incompetent. Wasn't he supoused to be here to save the season? Matic is far our best midfielder and that says something about our midfield but that was not the main issue today. Forwards had the ball a lot but:
Ronaldo - lost it most of the time especially with his back to the net - he is not a CF
Sancho - lost the ball every fecking time, bad decisions
Cavani - selfish
Greenwood - some bad decisions too
Rashford - I am not gonna even comment this lazy ****

Happy for Jones, he looked miles better and motivated. Others looked like they just do not care anymore. Imagine having their salary and doing your job like this.

DDG is our player of the season so far.

I'm gonna have to stop watching for a while. Just so I can actually enjoy my life. I don't want to mope around and be a dick to people just because I support a team with a bunch of cnuts who don't care.

I honestly dont get it. How can we be this bad? We looks like the worse team in every match.

- How can pro footballers be this bad at something as basic as passing the ball? Did Cavani always pass his 3 yards passes with a bounce or is that something that started when he came here?

- Do anybody knows what we are trying to do? How do we want to attack? Lure them up the field to exploit the room behind the backline? What the hell are even the plan?

- Why cant we even show ”passhun”? We loose the ball and every single one are just standing there. Players jog back and we are lucky Wolves dont attack that much on our right side on counters.

I cant understand how we got this bad. Was Sancho this bad at Dortmund? Im just pissed of and confused. Need to watch the game again without the adrenalinne to try to make some sense of this.

I have followed United for 40+ years and I don’t think I have ever witnessed such an uninspiring performance. It looked like the first pre season friendly after a long holiday. No energy, not able to make even the most simple passes, and worst of all they all looked like they couldn’t care less.

19 shots to 9,
6 on target to 2
8 corners to 3

If either side deserved to win it was them.

You’re bang on. You have to earn the right to play by controlling midfield. We do the opposite and give opponents the right to play by continuously losing the MF battle.

Taking Greenwood off as the kid least likely to kick up a fuss every week is getting a bit obvious now.

Far from the biggest problem but it does always feel like the ‘cowardly’ choice when more impactful subs could be made.

Bar the odd one or two, I absolutely despise this group of players

Of course though, they will all issue their pathetic fake apologies as usual. Course it won't stop them picking up their massive wages, no questions asked

Do we have any performance related criteria in any contracts? If not, can we start adding them in as a matter of urgency for any new signings

There's a serious problem with a lot of them, but especially Rashford, his head down, running into blind alleys, trying to run through players is REALLY irritating me. It's like when I play Fifa, which I'm not very good at, and I try and run my way to goal. I admire his charity work, but he needs to delegate and focus on his football. Surely he could put his mum in charge, he must trust her to run it properly.

9 wins
4 draws
6 losses

22 points away from the title. (in January...just how far away are we going to be when the season is over? 30? More?)

It was a very disappointing performance and I didn't see anything that would make me think that the performances were going to improve anytime soon. There was no spirit on the pitch, and there's also a shitload of poor, technically-deficient players in our squad who are not going to improve us. In fact, we're drifting further away.

In terms of amount of effort applied for pounds earned, manchester united are absolutely f#cking disgusting. Turning up to perform like that is disgusting from these humans.

Hate to say it but as a group I can say I despise them

No clear cut chances though, draw was the fair result and Bruno squandered a golden chance.

I have no complaints though.

Numb to it all by now. I feel sorry for supporters who genuinely have there days ruined by these shysters. Have never felt more disconnected from a utd team in 38 year's. Rotten to the core.

Maybe Mr. Clear Philosophy wasn't a good appointment as an interim mid season?

Koeman would've been better as a pragmatic manager until the next bloke can get a full season and summer transfer window.
Koeman could work, but his ego is so static that it could go either way, with either being okish but not much better, or even worse because he wants to stick to his ideas.

But the clear philosophy argument is fair. I think it could still be worth it, but you have to expect players to be bad at the plan for many games (but sometimes it hits) before it gels. We knew this tactic wouldn't be instant relief, except for perhaps a more solid defensive plan, which is there now. I think that as a Utd fan it's important to learn how to suffer (I mean, there's been enough practice in the past 9 years), knowing that the suffering is necessary to improve, even if right now all you see is the suffering.
I think the change was needed though, the season was already going badly and a pragmatic coach doesn't seem to be the answer for this lot. Play bad with a plan that loses its function in 4 months or play bad with a plan that should improve after a month or three. With the covid troubles I can imagine those three months should end in 2 from today, with some more good halves coming up soon.

The entire Manchester United team were awful today also the subs made no impact at all. Wolves deserved their victory and 1-0 is a flattering result for Manchester United.
