This is so depressing. We look like we don’t really know to play any kind of football. What’s happening really !!!
Ive not seen United lose live. Ever. Me and the boy who would rather XBox than watch this are going on Saturday for the West Ham game. We-I could easily best that duck.

Absolutely horrible first half yet again.
1 shot on goal, zero chances created.

No midfield cohesion, misplaced passes, underhit passes, too many passengers. No link between midfield and attack

The league position dont lie, we are that bad.

No cohesion, no teamwork, can't believe how far we have fallen

I can understand if this was a one off performance against a really physical team. How come we have played like this or worse against so many bottom half sides? This is inexplicable for the money we have splurged out and the ‘talent’ we have?

he's broken up their game, got a foot and done the dirty stuff that no one ever talks about or notices... there are a lot worse out there
They could’ve scored 4 or 5 goals in the half alone. Our midfield don’t participate in the game. They have a few touches and hide the rest of the time. Good at harrying or playing in a game where we sit back and soak up pressure but absolutely useless at giving us any sort of control.

We had more control under Ole with our current players (last season). Please stop with this "can't polish a turd crap"

When Bruno is off he looks like a glorified hoof merchant with technique. Always wants to play it over the top. Defenders now know what's coming so they barely get through anymore.

Rangnick needs to tell the players to move, our attacking play is exactly the same, pass slowly around the back because nobody is moving and showing for the ball, play it wide, maybe see if we can progress it into a cross, no? Pass it back then and maybe try the other side. Our 3 attacking players are always standing in line with their defensive line and don't move off of it, not coming for the ball to show for a pass. Whenever someone picks up the ball in the middle, look at how much space is infront of them in terms of no Manchester United players in the near vicinity for a forward pass, only a backwards one, that's what is genuinely most frustrating about this team

Serving up dogshit again and expecting the opposition to slip over it is probably the worst tactical solution in the world but the one we seem to being opting for.

It's like Barcelona's classic tiki-taka where they would patiently wait for an opening, but for them an opening was if the other team had a player move a foot out of position whereas our players need an open space the size of a car before they'll even attempt to pass it forward. And when we don't suddenly have this magical opening just gifted to us, instead of actually running forward with the ball we just pass it backwards and try the same thing again.

Nobody falls for it. Opposing teams just keep their shape and then hurt us on the counter. Because while we're waiting for the other team to feck up, we do it instead.

Feck this, I'm off to throw bricks in the air and try to catch them with my face.

Just to confirm, this team finished second last season and added Ronaldo, Sancho & Varane. It’s inexplicable how shit we are. Can’t blame this German fella managing us who is trying to pick up the pieces right now.

Manager has been here for a little while. He knows each player, and has spoken with em all. Right, we had covid, but so did many other teams.

So, without any excuses, how comes we haven't improved?
    Crap midfield
    Crap fullbacks
    Old striker
    Overrated wingers

Not even Pep can improve this lot

To be fair, Lingard, Martial, and (to a lesser extent because he’s already on loan) Pereira all have clubs willing to take them on loan or full time and we keep saying no.
But those clubs don't want to take the risk of investing serious money which is totally fair. I don't even want to bash any of our players but between the ones that have almost not played in months and are kind of mysteries in terms of form and mental preparedness, the ones that have played have been awful. If I tried to get any of them, United would have to subsidize it heavily.

looking at our bench, you can see how weak we have become... no one among the subs who can turn a game and win it for us

Same old, lacking a centre mid that Bruno can combine off. Someone that can find him in pockets of space.
That and as much as it pains me to say it, Ronaldo is just not a threat anymore in this league, we have zero threat on the counter.

Generally the second half has been worse than the first recently which is a bit worrying after that first 45, hopefully we flip the script and put in a good performance after halftime, we're going to need it.

We are terrible in all phases. Shocking. And Manchester United has two goal keepers on the bench and we're starting Fred and Scott.

This is miles different from Ole and Mourinho. We just dont have the players to retain the ball and play the right pass. But you can see he wants us to control the game. But we are getting caught in the counter because like i say we cannot retain the ball nor play the inch perfect pass.

Ragnick needs to get somethign going in the 2nd half. The lack of "want" is palpable

Ronaldo - Absent, no service whatsoever, lost up there.
    Elanga - Doing nothing
    Greenwood - Doing nothing
Fernandes - Lost the ball, that's all I can remember
Fred - Typical Fred performance, that attempted clearance the first part of the half, WTF
    McTominay - Doing nothing
    Telles - Shit crossing
Dalot - Decent shot but apart from that nothing
Varane - Isn't the player I thought he was so far at Utd
    Lindelof - Usual panicky self
DDG - Far and away our best player

1/10 first half... absolutely piss poor. Nothing team. You wonder how we can get worse? Wait 'till they score.

Terrible performance. Without Dave, we're 2-0 down. Haven't even had a shot on target. Their keeper has done nothing. Extremely disappointing again. I think Fred is getting subbed at HT again. Pretty awful stuff from him. It's one of those games where everything he does is poor.
Which is standard for our little Brazilian wizard.

i thought at least some of our play was crisp but unless we stop giving it away then this is there for Brentford to nick a 1 zip

Whatever it is that Ralf and his coaches have doing, is not working. Will Rangnick be fired if continue to drop points regularly against weaker teams?

sloppy, rusty, predictable, and De Gea heroics, that's what we've become, teams no longer struggle against us.

Pretty hard watch. We are second best every week with our physicality. We get shoved off the ball far too easily.

We just seem like a group of employees turning up to a dead end job on a dark, rainy Monday morning in a dull office with a dull uninspiring boss. Just doing barely the minimum to get through the day and blaming each other for the poor productivity. Would love to see a The Office style documentary on us training and how the dressing room is.

Just no threat in that United front three. None of them contribute to the team creatively or act as a workhorse. United massively miss the Rashford of 12 months ago and still have that massive gap that they expected the Dortmund Sancho to fill. Rangnick’s got to get those two firing.
Dan James offered more threat than this.

Why do i keep spending my evenings like this?

    Yeah the kids are asleep...

There is so many better things to do then watch this drivel.

We're unwatchable. And that's what i hate the most.
