Good. Hope he finds his mojo again. We'll all know a bit more at the end of the season.

Can he take Martial FC with him?

They can all sulk and whine together.

Man it’s
Bags and bags of talent, all I’ll say is that we do not know what goes ok behind the scenes at Man Utd at all. I can imagine it being hard to get fully behind the process when you feel you are better than what is being put into the pitch. It’s for that reason that I think this is a good move for him, we need players who stand up and be counted. Unfortunately Martial has not done this enough times for me. (Although there are many players this can be said for at United)
Wish him all the best and hope we use the money saved to improve the team (buy a decent midfielder)

He’ll shite himself when he realises he actually has to put effort in with Sevilla and be back in 5 months with his tail between his legs.

Do you really want players stinking up the training ground with their toxicity? We've had these with Sanchez and loads of others over the past 3-4 years. Fergie was shrewd in this regard - its partly the talent of the player, partly the form but a large part is the attitude.

Fergie would never keep players around who were breaking the vibe of the team. But then, Fergie had a team with loads of leaders who would have dealt with it before he had to get involved.

I'm liking the clearing of the decks. Now if we can only find a buyer for Perriera
No? That's why I'm glad he's going to Sevilla... should be a good move for him and us.

Thanks for the memories. Superb in that first full Ole season, a bright spark under LVG and what could've been under Mourinho. Such a great talent and really feel we wasted something here. One of my favourite post-Fergie United players for sure.
This is ridiculous

So much love for a player who gave so little effort

Look on the bright side.

At least now you get to see him play, he might even get to play 90 minutes.

That could be a good 6 wanks every game, if you manage your time properly and judge so you blow every time he touches the ball.
What bright side? Watching Ronaldo limit our tactical approach to every game because he cant press the ball and offers no physical presence up top? Lets keep watching the next 6 months.

Look through all my posts since he has arrived Ive never doubted his commitment to this club. You guys don't realize that many of our players cant fulfill their potential because the squad planning is terrible with all the nonsensical managerial appointments. Martial has been here during a very unsettled and prolonged transition. He has done okay considering it.

Just look at a player like pogba who hasn't fulfilled his time here because the club thought he should play deeper for 3 years when his best position has always been further up the pitch. Martial has always tried his best for us but it wont always be easy. So much criticsm towards him for having 1 in 5 bad games.
It's genuinely impressive how well Martial has managed to dupe a section of our fanbase. For example, mentioning he has always tried his best for us when all objective evidence points to the opposite being true.

He lacks conditioning and motivation but for his sake, I hope he plays a vital role at Sevilla. I have no doubts about his talent. I won’t be surprised if he absolutely smashed it in La Liga if given regimented and disciplined coaching.

Came in with so much potential and excitement since that debut goal against the scousers. 17 goals and 10 assists at 19 years old after newly coming to the PL in a disjointed team is actually so good. Was the only good thing about that LVG season.

It’s a shame his attitude stunk so much because he could have been such a good player for us.

Good move for Martial. It’s not permanent so there’s every chance he comes back after having a good loan spell. Let’s hope the club have some sense though and sell in the summer. We have enough players who can play on the left side of a front 3 and I’ve been impressed with Elanga.

Did we all not just watch the last game? Ronaldo has no presence up top and the west ham defense was very settled till Martial came on. If we cant even establish this obvious fact please dont bother.

Of course, Martial's 3 yard pass unlocked the West Ham defence and was a revelation to the rest of the United side who did not know such a thing was possible. How could we not have seen it!

The world we live in, where he loses the ball every single time he has his back to goal!
Good move for Sevilla, bad idea by United, Martial is our only forward who can keep the ball, hold it up, dribble, pass etc. Rest of our forwards just want to shoot constantly.

We'll really miss our best striker. How will we ever replace his *check notes* 4 goals and 3 PL assists from last season.

If only we had anyone capable of those numbers.

Hope he does well there and Sevilla come back with an offer of £30m to take him full time.

So, keep him as a squad player then, in a few games time we'll have two goalies on the bench & no striker (again) & looking for a goal with no option to change things in attack & on the same day he'll probably be notching a couple of goals for Sevilla.
That would be a good point if we weren't already stacked up front. We already have Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho, Elanga, and Shoretire. Martial is supposed to be in his prime at this point as he's no longer an upcoming star. He's clearly not cut out to be starting to begin with, and he's got some serious competition for substitution spots. In a World Cup year, he needs to be on the pitch getting consistent game time. And from United's perspective, they could use a small reduction in their wage bill.
