Rashford, Bruno, Fred, McTominay, Cavani are all pretty likeable.

None really. Shaw and De Gea always came across good characters

Character wise I like mata a lot. De Gea has always been very professional and often brilliant for us. Lindelof seems a good egg and i've grown to like him a lot. Rashford obviously.
Fred gives me Anderson esque vibes where i kind of love him for reasons i cant explain

Guess who... even with a bad back, tired legs and these days can only manager 70 minutes his on-field 'nous' is still better than more than half the squad...and "he comes from Serbia... he'll f***ing murder yer...."!!!

Same here. Seems a likeable, lighthearted bloke.

Literally thought of Greenwood straight away then was like oh damn..

Bruno by far for me, he’s just a proper Man Utd player in every way. Scott is a great servant too although I don’t he should be in the starting 11. Rashford is obviously up there.

Fred I guess. Not too many likeable United players which is so sad. Thought Sancho would be that guy but hes so timid.

I think I'm done with the "favorite player" thing. All the media leaks, instagram/twitter BS, Mason, clothing brands, crybabies, not gegenpressing...

If I had to, I'd say Cavani and DDG.

I'm warming to Wout Weghorst and look forward to see him try and fail to play football at Burnley. Also, United should buy Denzel Dumfries. I love him. He's so monumentally shite, yet manages to even do well at Inter now through sure will power and workethic.

David de Gea. He has been superb since Henderson challenged for his place, or at least thought about it.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Rashford is the obvious answer given his contribution to Utd and also the country. Then Bruno and Luke Shaw also seem like decent geezers to me.

The number of people saying Ronaldo or de Gea is absolutely baffling given their past / current issues and the current climate… not that I don’t support their right to play for whoever, but to name them as ‘favourite players’ seems incredibly hypocritical.

But yeah, Rashford, Bruno and Luke Shaw for me.

Bruno surely. Even when he's shit he's better than most, works like a Ferguson player, pulls magic out every now and then and seems to have reigned in his acting up since Rangnick came.

What skeletons does De Gea have in the closet ??

My son keeps asking me this and I dont really know. Its sad isnt it. Sure there are some likeables in there - Lindelof, Varane, Mata, De Gea. But no one I love like I used to - Scholes, Keane, Cantona, Schmeical and on and on. I friggin loved those players. They gave everything, were United through to their core and they never let you down

Bruno. He has his off games but you always see him trying. Be it leading the press, trying a high risk pass, tracking back to help out.

De Gea, McT and Fred come close too.

Bruno is amazing, easily my favorite amongst the bunch.

Always puts in his 100%, backed Ole even during the dark days when every single player wanted to hide behind his failings. Should be made club captain ASAP.

Rashford, Cavani, Fred, Bruno, and Shaw. Elanga seems like he could easily become a fan favourite if he keeps it up.

Still Carrick. None of the current squad stand a chance. Need a new signing or a youth player to come through.

How many people said Greenwood :nervous:
He was/is so good. Could have been one of the greats. I guess de gea would be my favourite now he's gone.

Although after greenwood I think I might be done with players. What they done of the pitch didn't really effect how I viewed them on it (Rooney and the grannies or rashford and saving the kids) but greenwood was something else. Seen him at the milk cup when he was like 12 and this whole thing has really turned me sour onto how I view players.

No real standout for me but contenders would be:
  • Bruno - probably our best player and seems to care, a battler
  • Cavani - similar although obviously past his prime
  • Rashford - more for his off the field greatness
  • Jones - no explanation needed
