Another childish post, what is you guys problem anyway you seem extremely sad.
No the posts from the CR7 fanboy club in response to Rooney’s comments are childish and sad. No surprise as Ronaldo’s response on social media was just as embarrassing.

Absolutely moronic post. Belittling an actual club legend because he spoke truth about the re-signing of a Real Madrid legend. Have a word with yourself.

This thread is embarrassing.
Yep it’s a pathetic post, and shows how demented a lot of Ronaldo fanboys are. It was mild criticism and Ronaldo says he’s jealous. This isn’t the first time Ronaldo has done this on Instagram. How sensitive is he?

You’re on here everyday belittling Ronaldo and calling people fanboys, now you’re saying they’re fat and losers as well, it’s just weird to me.

No. He was responding to people saying Rooney couldn’t have an opinion on Ronaldo because he’s fatter. This isn’t difficult.
“Older and fatter than Rooney and still living in their parents’ basements.”

That’s not what he said, and if you were in here long enough putting everything together it’s weird behaviour

Of course the below (which he was aiming at) is perfectly mature

Rooney criticised Ronaldo  He should get his weight under control first before criticizing one of the best players of all time.
Shades of LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE here

Wait, Ronaldo isn't an 'actual club legend'? They both are, clearly. Rooney is entitled to his opinion but based on his comments the other night I don't want him anywhere near the managers job in future.

Maybe a bit crude in the way he put it but Rooney was finished top level at about 31, Ronaldo still doing it at 37, dietary and lifestyle choices have a lot to do with that.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Yes. I read what he said. He was using their own twisted, stupid logic back against them. I don’t want to speak for anyone but I’m fairly certain he doesn’t actually believe anyone defending Ronaldo is fat or lives in their parent’s basement - or if a person’s weight has any fecking relevance as to the validity of their footballing opinions.

It’s bizarre but wholly unsurprising. The responses are as fragile as Ronaldo’s ego.

This thread is great. I love this thread. Personally I think both Rooney and Ronaldo were great players and club legends. Rooney was a great player, Ronaldo is a great player.

Ye should all stop being gowls and fighting about it because it's pretty pathetic and there are far too many agenda-driven posters in this thread.

Bringing this thread away from the topic of "fighting and acting like childish gowls for no reason" and back to Ronaldo, here's a compilation video with some shit music -

Feel free to masturbate yourself into a frenzy at it or work yourself into a frothy-mouthed rage. I don't really care. Personally I am just thankful we have a skillful player at the club who sets high standards for himself. High standards which are direly needed elsewhere in the club.

Why are people acting as if Ronaldo took complete offence to what Rooney said and that his reply is intended to be aggressive or juvenile? It's entirely possible that, given their relationship over the years, it's a pally response in the same way that you'll call your mate a cnut from time to time simply because you feel like it.

I'm happy to be proven wrong but we constantly look for drama.

Yes. You summed it up perfectly. The bolded bit is case and point.

That would hold more weight if he wasn’t constantly calling people out as fanboys as a way to belittle them.

What does that have to do with him presenting his opinion? Should we measure your life success before allowing you to post on this forum?

I think he's washed but I'm starting to think we should still keep one more year. Next season will be volatile and Ronaldo will provide two things , goals and an example for the young players of a real successful superstar footballer.

Even this year he's probably in the top 3 for player of the year with Fred and De Gea.

I also don’t want Rooney anywhere near the manager’s seat but it has nothing to do with his comments or his weight.

When people post like that, they deserve it. Their opinion would "hold more weight" if they behaved like adults.

I doubt the footballers care much about all of this. It's always the fans making meal out of comments from either side.

Because people love the drama and an excuse to pick a side for no reason whatsoever.

It comes across a little bit petty (for want of a better word) from Rooney and obviously Ronaldo felt it too.

Well this fat bastard, loser, fanboy enjoys watching Ronaldo and it gives us lads who are of a certain age a little bit of hope that we can still achieve and be successful, more power to him I say…

I haven’t posted in this thread in ages.

So you think constantly belittling people and insulting them is grownup behaviour?

Not really. He's a pundit giving a legitimate view that a lot of people have echoed.

It was only the other week he called Ronaldo “fecking annoying” in an interview, so it seems like there might be something there.

The issue is will Ronaldo ever accept he is 2nd fiddle? I think that's the hard part. We clearly need a younger, fitter player who can play 3 times a week and not drop a level.

Ronaldo shows that like against Tottenham he still has the ability, but the consistency has gone. if we can only get 1 game out of him a week then that's fine, but he needs to realise that too and not cause problems.

I imagine though he still thinks he's 25 in his head and the people around him still say he's the best in the world. I'm not sure benching him or using him in rotation will work, so maybe better to let him go?

Especially if we have no European football. I wonder if he has a clause to cut his pay?

Have to disagree, Ronaldo is definitely a United legend - beyond debate.

Had something to do with his comments for me, he came across absolutely clueless in my opinion.

So what? He's obviously taking the piss. In the dressing they must have all called each other much worse.

If he makes it clear he's not willing to accept being rotated then he should leave. I think he's professional enough to carry on and not cause too much trouble though.

This is what Rooney said. He's spot on, it's just fan boys/girls getting triggered.
Didn't say anything wrong. Just because he wasnt as good as Ronaldo in his prime doesnt mean he cant voice his views like everyone else. Rooney is also one of our greatest club legends. He's not Lindgaard.
