Great player and every central midfilder we have could learn from him. Never hiding and always taking responsibility. Could easly have been good player for us next year aswell.
Was really a great addition to the team. Professional, hard working and class. One of my favorite players since he signed.
Shame he really didn't win anything with us after 5 freaking years but that's the current Man United I guess.

It's time. His legs aren't there at this level anymore. All the best to him in whatever he does. He's still a very good footballer if he can be used to his strengths.

Technically he has a few runners up medals.
Probably the best all round footballer at the club, on the ball he was still the most reliable of the lot. Shame we only got him towards the end of his peak
Modric is a freak of nature. Can hardly compare anyone to him.

Good news, although he's been better in patches this season he shouldn't be anywhere near a team with ambitions to win trophies.
I actually really love him as a player, it's just a shame that he can no longer do it to the extent that we need him to. He would be the perfect DM for us if he was 10 years younger. To be honest I actually thought we might get him to stay for 1 more year as DM backup to a new DM signing but I suppose not

Fantastic pro and always been a reliable player for United with some top moments. Been a great servant for United.

My favourite Matic moment is that goal against Palace. I remember watching the game live and when the ball bounced up after his first touch, I thought "oh don't shoot from there!".
Two seconds later it was "YEEES! WHAT A FECKING GOAL!!!"

Well past his sell by date. Should have been moved on a few seasons earlier.
I remember when he first came to United and those first few games were a revelation. Actually having a competent shielding DM in the side for the first time in god knows how many years. Shame he was already on the decline when we got him but still a quality player.

Shame he never got to lift a trophy with us, I always considered him a very honest and intelligent player. If he was 10 years younger I’d have no issue with him being given a 5 year contract. With him and Pogba (probably) going, will we sign 2 midfielder’s this summer?

I think his decline started shortly after he joined Manchester United. In one of his earlier games he was very good against Real Madrid in the supercup match. Dominated that midfield if memory serves me well. It looked we sorted out the midfield. During that season he lost the ability to run...
