Will Liverpool ever lose a home league game again under Klopp?

Made light work of the potential group of death. Not like us, usually we like the drama. Two boring guff games left.

I wasn't aware of this.
Yeah our last defeat was against Real Madrid away last season. We haven't lost in any competition since then, but I'm sure we will at some point. Our game management isn't good enough to keep this up.

Top form Trent has helped them a lot, last season TAA wasn't really that consistent, but making up for it atm.

Kudos to them.

Another way of looking at it is that while game management has been inconsistent the team still haven't lost. Klopp and the coaching team have excelled in problem solving and overcoming niggling tactical issues. The fact the side is arguably playing at about 60% efficiency indicates that it hasn't hit its stride yet.

I'm not suggesting an endless unbeaten run but I think there's a danger to view the high-scoring games with a negative slant, whereas Klopp's sides have typically had very strong Novembers and Decembers where team play is bedded in. To have arrived at this point of the season in such good fettle is extremely impressive given the return from injury of the CBs and ongoing merry-go-round in midfield.

Guy has 50 career assists from RB. It’s actually quite mental. I hate how good some of their players actually are.

They will lose one of their remaining CL group games when they “should field” a weak team, as they have already won the group. But knowing Klopp, he will play a strong team for some reason.

They should have lost against Chelsea and City already this season.

Liverpool get a penalty out of thin air. Villa are denied a stonewaller on the other end.

This is way beyond a parody.

Ever since Klopp moaned about the Christmas fixture pile up they've had the kindest run ins of everyone.

Same again this season as it was last.

Thought it was only at home they had the ref in the back pocket but turns out it's the case away too. Offside on Firmino for the second goal and then a penalty to Jota for running into the keeper. Refs don't even try to hide their bias anymore.

Just trying to keep the title race interesting. They do it every year.

Classic Anfield game tonight:

- Opponents missing one sitter after another
- Ref giving every call in Pool's favor (VVD elbowing someone and not even a FK given)
- VAR allowing a Pool goal, identical to the one that was disallowed in their favor a week ago

Any great run or record will have luck scattered into it. Invicibles, Jose's chelsea home record, etc

It really takes the piss. Jota with a horrid challenge, should have been a red, as well.

Not really identical, it showed a red line last week and a green one this week - minor details in your view, I'll asume ;)

Liverpool are so annoying. Having our two biggest rivals be arguably the best teams in Europe is bad in and of itself, but Liverpool are so much more annoying than City. Liverpool just always have these moments where luck seems to go their way. Whether it's a refereeing call, a bad deflection or mistake, they seem to have so much more luck than other teams and it's so damn annoying.

And before anyone gives me that crap about "you create your own luck" City have nowhere near as many lucky moments as Liverpool, for a comparable team.

Not to mention their fans. Seeing posts like "quad still on". Ergh. I don't ever remember hearing United fans talking about quads or even trebles prior to it.

Keita escaping a clear red against us. Now TAA too. Do they really need this much help in every home game?
