He just put a post up on social media, I can't share it, but definitely doesn't seem like he's leaving.

What team is going to go for him?

It's about trying to win the UCL rather than just compete.

Again, Bayern can't afford his wages and I don't fancy their UCL chances in the future either. And PSG won't go for him as it will be vetoed.

Who else?
As I said, we don't know if they want him yet. If they do, he might take less money and go.

Once again, great support from the stands. Let’s take this opportunity of our last game of the season at Old Trafford to thank our amazing supporters, who endured a difficult season by our side and never abandoned us. Thanks, guys. Your support means the world to us and our goal is to become better everyday, so that we can achieve what we all want: glory for Man. United!
He's staying hopefully!

Good performance today. I think he will do another season if ETH wants him. I don't think that's a given, but he might think we are too light on numbers to let him go

I thought that too. He should go to Bayern and replace Lewandowski

Enjoy the end of his career and one last shot at La Decima
He already won La Decima in 2014 with Real and Bayern are way off winning it.

His obviously not finished as a player. I think he wants to stay and make sure we get back where we belong. We will find out soon enough.
yeah agreed. I think he’s obviously heard the media suggesting he’s finished at United under EtH etc and that’s his response

Yeh that's the one, just seems fairly positive to me. I think it'd have a different tone if he was leaving.
I think you're right as well. He's one of the only players who has given us much this season.

I think the only way Ronaldo leaves is if he’s got an option in his contract (no CL football or something similar) and he wants to go.

I didn’t get the vibe he wants to go from what I saw tonight. His lap of the pitch, comment into the camera that he’s not finished along with the instagram post saying the team all want to get better to bring glory back to the club don’t suggest he’s ready to leave yet.

Better than the rest and works hard too.

Should be Captain simple as that.

Anyone being outworked by a 37 year old should be ashamed.

Prob he was saying he is not finished as a player. It doesn’t mean he is gonna stay. He is Mr. UCL not Mr. europa

We should definitely hold on to Ronaldo for another season. This man is a beast. They almost had me in the first few months when they blamed CR7 for us not being able to press teams or defend like a proper team.

Man, people keep saying that he's not the future. Yeah he's not the future, but he's definately the present. And in football, the present is what matters most. We've been preparing for the future ever since Moyes came in and look at where that brought us. Having the GOAT at old trafford is a blessing and we should just enjoy it as long as it lasts.

A better league goal return 13 seasons after he became the best player in the world... in an awful side. The man is a marvel.

The fact I can say I watched Ronaldo score live is a box ticked in my life. We had so many fans questioning his hunger, yet the back end of this season has shown anything other
Yeah I just did this tonight too. I made sure i attended this game just because it was the last home one and just because I wasn't sure he was gonna be here next season. He works harder than he's given credit for btw. I remember one time in the 1st half he gave the ball away and sprinted back to make a great sliding tackle. The crowd was loving it. Great attitude from him all round.

He would have definitely score 40 plus goals all comp for a club like city. I won't have anything bad to say even if he leaves again. Man came and entertained us in our worst season for ages. The sad fact how he is the one in line to go but most of the crap will continue to stink this place. Just keep him and play him in the league games. He deserves to retire here. Win a big trophy with him and he leaves.

In a good team he would be the top scorer in the league, don't doubt it for a second.

In a team like City he would put absurd numbers

Love him, must read this thread surely  amazing game today, the madlad is eternal  @SportingCP96 @SirAF
Hope we see him in his competition the CL next season. Considering he’s the most decorated player of his competition it’s only right he plays their next season!

Would love to see him in Bayern next season!

Where exactly do you people think he will leave to?

He's on a 600K a week contract. Who is going to match that?

He won't return to La Liga or Serie A.

Bayern or PSG?

Bayern couldn't afford his salary and United won't sell him to PSG after they scoop up Pogba. Not to mention Messi, Neymar et al - there is a clique - wouldn't want him there.

He has enhanced his legacy tremendously by performing at such a high level in the PL, at 37yo he could end up with a 20+ PL goal campaign.

It makes sense for him to stay another season and then leave for free if there is no UCL football/improvement.
I could only think of 2 possible scenario.

1. If Mbappe leaves PSG, they may want Ronaldo for another 2 seasons, as they could easily afford his wage and they will need a goalscorer after Mbappe is gone. Ronaldo can still easily score 35+ goals for them.

2. If Lewandowski leaves Bayern, they may want him as a stop gap to challenge for CL, although they couldn't afford his wage, Ronaldo maybe willing to take a pay cut as they are still strong enough to challenge for CL trophy, and this could be Ronaldo last chance for another CL.

His all round play has been outstanding lately. Hopes he gets 20 league goals this season.

Coming back to Madrid wouldn't be the worst thing ever, we have Gareth Bale and Hazard doing nothing so I'd rather get rid of both them and have Ronaldo back even if he was something like 50 years old. Anyway I think he's staying at United anyway, he already won everything he could here and while Barcelona are on the decline and without Messi staying at Manchester United another season and helping them to get back to the top seems like the better challenge at the moment.

I think in last five or so games something definitely clicked on with him. Whether his fitness picked up, or the team finally learned how to play with him I don’t know. But the Ronaldo that is ending the season is pretty fabulous. He was on another level to rest of the players on the pitch today.

I can think of the reasons of him stay or leaving:

Staying
- no one could afford his wage at this age
- He may not want to seek for another move and risk being unsettled, as it would be last WC for him next season in few months time
- He would not want to leave United without winning any trophy, as he was successful everywhere he went in the past. United in his 2nd stint shouldn’t be the only exception.

Leaving
- CL football. He may want to win another CL before he retires, or extend his scoring record further
- Trophy. We are at the start of long term rebuild, it would be waste of final years of his career staying with us winning nothing.
- If Bayern or PSG is interest, there no reason for him not wanting to go there. He could be scoring goals for fun and challenging for new league. Would add more to his legacy, which is all that it matters for him at this stage of his career.

Hope he stays, but I wouldn't begrudge him for leaving.

It depends on how much he values the CL, because I don't think anyone will pay his current wages.

He's been very good lately too. It'd be a big sour note for us as fans if he left after not winning anything.

If we had functioning team, he would have been top scorer in the league.
