Loyalty works both ways here. The club have looked after Jesse since he was 8. He has been given everything.
Jesse was offered a new deal and has turned it down. He has been actively looking to leave the club for the past two windows at least.
That’s fine, you can go but don’t expect a fanfare. It’s your choice.

Rashford and Lingard mentality was exposed when they Tweeted the 0.012% thing years back. It demonstrated that to them, they'd proven all they'd ever need to by just becoming professionals. Two immature, egotistical and pampered idiots who don't have the mentality for United. The 0.012% yes but not the 0.001% who go and win it all

Jesus thinking back to it, we've put up with such bullshit for so long
I still don't understand why they tweeted that. What are they trying to prove? They're better than all of us who didn't make it? Yeah, no shit, but what about the people they play alongside? They also made it, and are better than you both, that's what they should be focusing on, not telling the average person in the street they made it and we didn't. Just weird behaviour.

Wow! First time I've heard of this.
But, in Rashford's defence, he would only have been 21 (from a quick Google) when he posted that, whereas Jesse would have been 26. Having said that, both are still up to stupid shit by leaking stuff to the press. Again, am more lenient towards Rashford due to his age.

Rumor has it that Ralf tried to sub him in, but young Jesse was already on a plane to Dubai to recover.

Same here. Never saw this. I don’t even know what to say. It just shows a lot about a person.

I still think United should look after its youth players better. He is still young and should be given a new contract.
Now moonwalk your ass out of here you entitled prick.

Sick of the media trying to push the notion that he is now leaving because he feels disrespected. He has been planning his Free Transfer for over a year as was shown by his bizarre decision not to push for a move last summer and confirmed when he turned down a contract extension all the way back in September. Ralf could have sent him on to the pitch on a red carpet strewn with petals whilst the crowd chanted his name and the red arrows did a fly by writing Beans in the sky and he still would have buggered off on a free because it is what he has wanted and been working towards for the last two seasons.

Eric: ‘are you sure I can’t talk you round into leaving before the end of June?’

Jesse: ‘no, because it’ll be closer to 23 years by then.’

His and Rashford’s PR have been working tirelessly this past 24 hours. They need a raise and I hope they get their cut from JLingz’ inevitable massive feck off sign on fee for whoever takes him.

I can buy Newcastle's interest as they'd buy anything with 2 legs right now, but I'm having severe difficulty believing PSG and Milan are interested in signing Jesse Lingard. I mean, why would they be?

Chris Wheeler, James Ducker, and John Cross have just exposed themselves as clowns who will just print whatever self-serving lies a player's camp feeds them, in this case Lingard's. There's no way in hell half of the clubs mentioned are interested in Lingard, especially PSG.

Sad the way cnuts on this site have turned on him, not the ones that were always against him, the others that have just gone along with the current narrative. I'm so close to just dropping this site...

You'd think Lingard was prime Messi the way these stories are going on about him. He's been largely shit his entire United career and is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Absolute chancer who's made a name for himself off the back of one decent spell, can't wait to see the back of him.

Exactly, and it's amazing how all the inside knowledge is about how great he is and how the club are filled with bastards preventing other clubs from admiring his genius.

On behalf of all Man Utd fans I'd like to say....

I'm so sorry Jesse. You deserved so much more than this x
Yeah, you can at least count me out of that message.

Mine would be: "It's been way too long. Please just go."

Anyone still trying to argue Lingard isn't one of the cnuts leaking stuff to the press can now finally shut up and accept it.

His PR team have gone into overdrive in the last 48 hours, all releasing articles and tweets at the same time painting Lingard as some poor guy badly treated by Utd. It is so pathetic and obvious that it's Lingard talking to journalists, bad mouthing the club.

Cannot fecking wait until this man child is gone.

He has been made a multi millionaire despite being very bad at his job for the majority of his time here. He should honestly be enthusiastically thanking Man United until the end of time. Instead he is just pouting about the fact that his almost endless allowances to underperform due to being a "local lad" has ran out.

And just like that, every media outlet drops a story about Jesse not being talked round. It’s almost like someone has been speaking to the press again…

Baffling how big of a story this has gotten, considering all the greats of the club who’ve left without a fanfare. Not really adding much rebuttal to the idea he’s been feeding info to people… I’ll re-iterate for the umpteenth time in this thread, but the very last thing Fergie did as manager was drop Wayne Rooney and out him for wanting a transfer, undercutting his reception for potentially his last game:.. but apparently some of our fans are devastated we didn’t have the ‘class’ to roll out some kind of special send off for Jesse fecking Lingard!?

Ive never disliked the lad, and he’s not had an awful career here, but fecking hell, the state of us.

The fact that you lot think these news reporters have nothing better to do than print stuff on the behest of our fringe players is hilarious... Must have been a slow news day for the last few weeks eh?

Maybe they just enjoy winding you all up? Or... Maybe they just believe what they are writing, that this had been mishandled by us, and the fans have turned toxic over it. I hate it... But knock yourself out, all the current toxicity and nastyness in this thread is glorious.
